Nancy Overholt

Nancy Overholt is a strong believer in the transformative power of international education and travel. She uses this belief to propel creation of long-lasting, impactful public diplomacy programs and international professional training. She has an impressive record of achievement in the areas of program and human capital development and has built a solid base of knowledge and expertise in public speaking and leadership training including seminar and training development and delivery. One of Nancy's favorite areas is the development of human capital for all sectors in the domestic and international domains. Former reports are now in leadership positions throughout all sectors. Nancy has years of progressive success in stewarding initiatives to boost capacity and effectiveness for U.S.-based and global corporate, government, private, and non-profit entities. Examples of her 30+ years programmatic work include innovating the vision for and agile implementation of high visibility programs for the U.S. Department of State, Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program and International Visitor Leadership Program; On-Demand Study Tour Programs for domestic and international sponsors; USAID and the US Department of Agriculture; Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc.; Aramco; and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Nancy held academic appointments at the University of Pennsylvania and University of California, Santa Barbara. Programs she inspired and directed at both institutions remain trendsetters in the field. She has received numerous honors and recognition for her work, including the IIE Centennial Medal; Fulbright Specialist, Madagascar; Department of State U.S. Speaker and Specialist, Morocco; and the Exemplary Service Award, Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance.
