Anne Conners

Anne Conners is the Director of the Community Health Department at MaineGeneral Medical Center. In this role, she directs a wide array of chronic disease prevention and health promotion programs, oversees the operation of school-located flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and implements harm reduction strategies to prevent overdose deaths. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led the operations of MaineGeneral's mass COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the Augusta Civic Center and directed more than 400 staff and volunteers in providing nearly 50,000 vaccinations. She is passionate about community engagement and coalition building and works with a variety of community organizations to improve the health and wellbeing of residents of the Kennebec Valley. She works to ensure that public health initiatives benefit all in our community and strives to increase the diversity of those served by them. She serves on the Central District Public Health Steering Committee, the MGMC Opiate Use Disorder/Substance Use Disorder Steering Committee, the Peter Alfond Advisory Group, the Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment Community Engagement Committee, and Local Planning Committee. Anne earned her Masters in Public Health from the University of Southern Maine, her Masters in Arts from the City University of New York/Hunter College, and her Bachelors of Arts from Pennsylvania State University. In addition to serving on the Board of Spectrum Generations, she is a past president of the Maine Public Health Association and currently serves on the Board of New Hope Midcoast in Rockland. When not working or commuting to work, Anne enjoys her two Jack Russell Terriers (a.k.a. terrorists), Carla and Tadhg, as well as curling up with a good book. She lives in Cushing with her love, Austin Donaghy, where they both enjoy the beautiful scenery and wonderful people of the Midcoast Area.

David Farago - Chairman

As a financial advisor, David has dedicated his career to helping others achieve their personal financial goals; to understand what is most important to them and how they can work together to get them where they would like to be. After spending nearly seven years studying at the University of Maine, David joined the financial industry in early 2016. He spent the next seven months undergoing one of the industry's most rigorous and successful onboarding programs/field-based trainings, allowing him to better understand how to serve his clients and community. Several years later, David is now a franchise owner of his practice, Fourteen Forty Financial, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC®. David spends his days getting to know his clients and learning the vision they have for their financial future. As an active member of the community, David volunteers his time with such groups as The Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors, Cynergy young professionals, and the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce. In his career he wears many hats, but his most gratifying role is being a great husband and father to his lovely wife, Samantha, and their two beautiful children, Brayden and Ellie. These three are his motivation for waking up each day to set a good example by doing his best.

Dean Jackman

As a recent college graduate, Dean has already established his attitude and dedication toward others for the rest of his career. He strives to become a financial advisor so that he can encourage others to set goals for themselves and to achieve those goals. Dean spent two and a half years studying at Thomas College, where he earned B.S. degrees in both Management and Finance. While studying, he held jobs such as Resident Assistant, Student Ambassador, and Student Advancement Officer, working to enhance the student body connection with its neighboring communities. Immediately following his final semester, Dean started working for Kennebec Valley Community Action Program. Although he left the position, he is thankful for the work he was able to do while there, as well as various volunteering options with local baseball teams, the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, and others. Dean loves work and volunteering, but his greatest accomplishment is building a strong family with his fiancé, Christina, and their dog, Valentine. It is them, and his hopes of using his career to better the lives of others, that drives Dean to get up every day and give it his best - no matter the task.

Diane Morrison

Diane and her husband, Mark, are enjoying life in Nobleboro, where she is happily tending a home orchard and organic garden. For many years, Diane managed large acquisition programs and business modernization efforts for the federal government. Currently she volunteers with several community non-profit organizations that focus on helping people. She has experienced the challenges faced by many when caring for family members, so she deeply appreciates Spectrum Generations' services for adults with disabilities/older adults.

Jeffrey Johnson

Jeff worked as an operations manager in the financial services industry for the majority of his career, and ultimately served as Vice President of Transfer Agency Operations for BNY Mellon Bank from 2007 through 2014. During his tenure, Jeff's operation achieved Best in Class ratings from National Quality Review (NQR) and received several DALBAR awards. In March of 2015, after moving from Rhode Island to Maine, Jeff joined Spectrum Generations to provide leadership to the Bridges Home Services business. Jeff is a member of the Home Care and Hospice Alliance of Maine where he actively serves on the Long-Term Care Committee and the Government Affairs Committee, advocating for the needs of senior and disabled citizens in Maine. He currently resides in Manchester, and has three children who also reside in Central Maine.

Josée L. Shelley

Josée L. Shelley, CPA graduated from the University of New Hampshire where she studied both Sociology and Business Administration. She has worked as the CFO for Kennebec Behavioral Health since 2003, and she has served on several boards (most recently, she has been working with Bartlett Woods in Rockland). Joseé's real passion is working with growing non-profits and applying her operational management skills to serving an organization's mission rather than just increasing corporate profits. Josée lives in Owls Head and enjoys spending time with her adult sons and extended family. She also loves to travel off the grid and plans to work well into her seventies.

Karen Foxwell

Karen graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a B.A. in Psychology. She moved to Colorado for 24 years, where she became involved with the local Meals on Wheels program. In 2016, Karen moved back to Maine and started volunteering with P.A.W.S. in Camden and joined the Board of the Belfast Soup Kitchen, where she serves as Treasurer. When the opportunity to join the Spectrum Generations Board presented itself, she jumped on it. Karen is excited to be part of such an important resource in the state. Karen lives in Northport with her "furry family" and enjoys gardening and travel.

Linda Ball

Linda has worked in the utility industry for nearly three decades, starting with front line customer service in New York State, then moving to Maine in 2012 to join Central Maine Power Company. Linda is dedicated to serving customers, knowing that every CMP customer is a family member, friend, or neighbor to herself of one of her colleagues. Linda earned her B.S. at LeMoyne College in upstate New York. She then earned a Masters of Business Administration with a focus on the energy industry from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland and from Comillas University in Madrid, Spain. Linda lives in the Augusta area with an ever-changing menagerie of pets, frequently entertaining friends and family who visit Maine to see "the way life should be."

Lindsay MacDonald

Lindsay has been working in the non-profit sector for fifteen years. Formerly she was the Executive Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick. Lindsay has a B.A. in Communication Studies and Business Marketing. During her career Lindsay has worked extensively in donor, corporation and community relationship development; fundraising events management, budgets,program/project development, board of director and committee relationships, communications and public relation strategies. She is a certified grant writer with experience in research, writing and reporting. Lindsay greatly enjoys sharing messages about causes that are of importance to the community in Maine and she is very excited to do this work here at Spectrum Generations.

Nancy Weingarten

Nancy grew up in New York City and has lived in Maine since graduating from college in 1973. She has a Masters in Health Care Administration from St. Joseph's College of Maine, and she has spent her career working in various health care settings. Prior to retirement, Nancy worked for 27 years as the Administrative Director of the Maine Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Augusta and Waterville. She lives in Topsham, serves on multiple local boards, and acts as a volunteer SHIP Medicare counselor for Spectrum Generations.

Nate Miller

Nate Miller is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) in the State of Maine. He studied social work and psychology at the University of Maine at Farmington, Oxford Brooks University and the University of New England. He has over 20 years of experience in social work, mostly working in aging and disability services in facilities and communities throughout Maine. Prior to joining Spectrum Generations, he was Community Services Director at SeniorsPlus where he earned the 2017 Healthy Androscoggin Partnership Award. He has been on the board of the Autism Society of Maine, Community Clinical Services, and chaired the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Maine CDC) Western District Coordinating Council. Nate has a special interest in, and passion for, improving our health care system by addressing social and economic determinants of health. His work has been featured by the Tri State Collaborative on Aging, Maine Public Health Association, and Maine Quality Counts among others. He lives in Turner with his wife Danielle and daughter Ruby.

Nicole Poulin

Nicole received her MBA in Healthcare Management from Thomas College and shares her expertise in nutrition and community health with the Kennebec County community at MaineGeneral's Community Health Department. As a community programs coordinator, Nicole has been instrumental in the development of MaineGeneral's Community Health Implementation Plan, food security initiatives, and the community vaccination site MaineGeneral is currently operating. As an at-large board member, Nicole supports the Kennebec County Region for Spectrum Generations.

Peter Bedard

Peter is a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels at Spectrum Generations. Prior to his retirement, Peter held a career in information technology that took him from Maine to Texas and back. Peter received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Maine. Peter is thoroughly enjoying his retirement with his volunteer work, as well as fishing, golf, and travel. As an at-large board member, Peter supports the Kennebec County Region for Spectrum Generations.

Richard "Rick" Ness

Rick is a self-employed salesman dually representing The West End News and Mazzone Marketing, out of Portland and Westbook respectively. He has an extensive record of giving back to his community, from serving for three years on the Board of Associates for Central Maine Medical Center, to acting as the Divisional Chair for the 2000 and 2001 United Way of Androscoggin County Annual Appeal, to serving nine years total on the Board of the Rural Community Action Ministry, including three years as President. Rick has also been the Commissioned Lay Pastor of the Presbyterian Church (USA) for six years. A Brunswick resident, he enthusiastically joins the Spectrum Generations Board of Directors representing the Brunswick/Harpswell area.

Sharon Cleveland

Sharon joins Spectrum's Senior Management Team bringing more than 12 years of non-profit healthcare leadership and executive level HR experience. Over the years, Sharon has served in various senior leadership roles as the Director of HR and Compliance. She has created and led various leadership programs, agency strategic plans, organizational restructuring projects, and organizational change initiatives. Sharon received her BS degree from the University of New Hampshire in Health Care Administration with a minor in HR. She is currently set to complete her MBA in Finance with minor in Leadership, at the end of the winter 2019-2020 semester. Sharon is SHRM-SCP certified in HR; an alumna of Harvard University's Executive Leadership Program, BiState Primary Care Association's Leadership Development Program, and White Mountain Community College's Leadership Program; and has received National Association of Community Health Center certification in Compliance.

Stephanie Duncan

As a full-time caregiver, shared living provider, and local business owner, Stephanie came to Spectrum Generations for case management for her son. Raising her three children and living in Kennebec County gave her a unique perspective on life in the IDD community within the catchment area of Spectrum Generations. At the beginning of the pandemic, Stephanie began delivering Meals on Wheels, and she finds it is one of the happiest times of her week. She loves meeting our consumers and interacting with them. Stephanie has served on the Spectrum Generations board for seven years, most recently as the Secretary of the Executive Committee.

Terry Reddy

Terry isn't native to Maine, but he has always fished and hunted in Maine throughout the years. He moved back to Maine in 2016 to be with his high school sweetheart. He has been a volunteer Meals on Wheels driver and a member of the Spectrum Generations Advisory Council for six years. In March of 2023, Terry took on the role of Chair of the Advisory Committee. Outside of volunteering, Terry enjoys being in the great outdoors and taking advantage of all that Maine has to offer: fishing, hunting, gardening, etc. He resides in the beautiful village of Bristol.
