A graduate in law and industrial relations, Anouk Collet is executive assistant to the national president of the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union. She has over 20 years' experience in bargaining, organizing, training and member services. Ms. Collet was elected vice-president of the FTQ and to the board of directors of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2013. She is also vice-president of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) as well as a member of various FTQ committees, including education and grievance arbitration. Anouk Collet is co-chair of Détail Québec, the retail trade labour sector committee. Engaged in the community, she has served on the board of directors of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada since 2012.

Chantal Doré - VP

Chantal Doré has been Vice-President, Information Technology, Administration and Project Management at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ since 2014. In this capacity, she is responsible for defining technology orientations that support the achievement of the Fonds' mission as well as for project management and administrative services. Most recently, as Vice-President, Strategic Projects and Support, from 2004 to 2010, she evaluated, influenced and translated the organization's development vision for capital inflow growth, customer service, business process optimization, system development and quality assurance. In 2010, her responsibilities were expanded to include oversight of the Fonds' IT environment. From 1997 to 2004, Chantal Doré served as Vice-President, Shareholder Services. From 1987 to 1997, she held in turn, the positions of Director, Trust Services and Redemptions, Assistant Director, Registrar, and Coordinator, Trust Services. Ms. Doré is involved in the Fondation Ressources jeunesse, an organization that helps youths find employment. She sits on the Fonds de solidarité's Management Committee and chairs its IT Steering Committee and Purchase-by-Agreement Decision-Making Committee. Chantal Doré holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in information systems, from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal (HEC), and has completed advanced courses in project management and team coaching.

Claud Séguin

Claud Séguin holds a bachelor's degree from HEC Montréal and a PhD in public administration from Syracuse University in New York. In addition to chairing the board of the Centraide of Greater Montréal Foundation, Mr. Séguin also sits on the boards of HEC Montréal, the Fondation 24h Tremblant and EXFO Inc. He is the co-author of the reports "Une métropole à la hauteur de nos aspirations" and "Le maintien et le développement des sièges sociaux au Québec."

Claude Séguin

Between October 2016 and March 2018 Claude Séguin served as Special Advisor to the Founder and Executive Chairman of CGI Group. Mr. Séguin joined CGI in 2003 as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Development and Strategic Investments, where he was responsible for the mergers and acquisitions team. Before joining CGI, Mr. Séguin was President of CDP Capital-Private Equity at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. From 1992 to 2000, he served as Executive Vice-President (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer of Teleglobe. From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Séguin was Deputy Minister of Finance for the Government of Québec. For the four years before that he was Assistant Deputy Minister in charge of fiscal policy and government corporations. He was also previously employed by the Conseil du trésor du Québec.

Daniel Boyer

After serving as secretary general of the FTQ from 2010 to 2013, Daniel Boyer was elected president during the organization's 30th convention in November 2013. Born in Lachine in 1958, Daniel Boyer has been a member of the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec since 1978. He was, in turn, vice-president and president of his local union, and union advisor to local 298 (FTQ) of the Syndicat québécois des employées et employés de service (SQEES), before becoming secretary general in 1999 and president in October 2007. A committed union activist, he was involved in demonstrations against the 1982 decrees in the public sector. He then became actively involved in the SQEES-298 (FTQ) before being hired as a union advisor in 1985. He travelled across Québec to defend the members he represented, as an advocate, spokesperson in public sector bargaining, national coordinator of the ambulance sector and coordinator of public sector bargaining for the FTQ. When he became president of the SQEES-298 (FTQ), Daniel Boyer sought new challenges. He worked tirelessly to achieve pay equity for female public sector workers. Daniel Boyer is First Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors and a member of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ Executive Committee. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Labour Congress and on the General Council of the International Trade Union Confederation. He is a member of the Comité consultatif du travail et de la main-d'œuvre (CCTM) and sits on the board of the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST). Daniel Boyer holds a degree in physical education and industrial relations from Université de Montréal.

Daniel Cloutier

Daniel Cloutier is the Québec director of Unifor. From July 2014 to April 2022, when he was elected Québec director, he served as the union's national representative for health and safety and the environment, as well as coordinator of the Service de défense des accidentés du travail. Before that, he was the service representative of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP), one of the founding unions of Unifor. He subsequently served in various capacities, including as local president. Daniel Cloutier's union career began in 1990 at Purolator Courier. Upon being hired by the CEP as a service representative in 1997, Mr. Cloutier was initially assigned to the petrochemical industry, representing groups at Petro-Canada, Petromont, Olin and Hercules. He was also put in charge of several groups in other sectors, including the media, where he represented members at the CTV station. This broad range of experiences gave him the opportunity to work in several regions of Québec as well as in the rest of Canada. During his 17 years of representing members, he has led numerous negotiations, including several at the national level. Throughout the years, he has also defended multiple files before the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité au travail (CNESST), arbitration boards and the Tribunal administratif du travail (TAT). Mr. Cloutier is a Board member of Envirocompétence and Multiprévention, an occupational health and safety association. He has taken part in several international missions to Belgium, Haiti and Algeria, where he participated in, among others, bargaining and market economy workshops. Daniel Cloutier joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ Board of Directors in May 2022.

Danielle Day

Danielle Day joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1999 as Valuation Coordinator. Ms. Day has extensive experience in evaluating financial instruments: stocks, debentures, preferred shares and hybrid instruments. She has conducted valuations in many different situations, for example, mergers and acquisitions, buyouts and restructurings. During her career, she also spent time working for a leading financial advisory firm. With over 20 years of experience in business valuation, Danielle Day earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Université du Québec à Montréal and holds the designations of Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator.

Dany Pelletier

Dany Pelletier has spent close to 20 years honing his skills in the investment field, including almost 16 years at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ and 4 years at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. During this time, he led investment projects involving the M&A, succession and growth initiatives of small, medium and large businesses. As Chief Investment Officer since October 2020, he is responsible for all the investment activities of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. Having spent his early career in operations and then engineering, Mr. Pelletier combines both operational and investment expertise. He has served on the boards of directors of private and public companies, as well as investment funds. Mr. Pelletier holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in engineering from Université Laval and an MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal. Mr. Pelletier draws inspiration in his day-to-day work from the quote "People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it."

Denis Bolduc

Denis Bolduc is president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) for Québec and a member of the CUPE National Executive Board. He is also a member of the Bureau of the FTQ and has served on the Board of Directors of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ since June 2016. Holder of a DEC in Arts and Media Technology from Cégep de Jonquière, Mr. Bolduc worked as a radio broadcast journalist at CKCV-AM in Québec City from 1985 to 1986 and as a journalist at Journal de Québec from 1986 to 2011. He was editor of the free daily Média Matin Québec from 2007 to 2008. Mr. Bolduc was president of CUPE-Québec Local 1450 from 2006 to 2011, president of CUPE-Québec's Provincial Council for the Communications Sector (CPSC) from March to May 2011, and General Secretary of CUPE-Québec from May 2011 to June 2016.

Denis Labrèche - Chairman

Denis Labrèche has over 30 years' experience in business valuation, financial disputes and M&As in various industries. As a partner at Ernst & Young from 1978 to 2011, he was involved in key mandates and transactions and was frequently called to give expert testimony. He was also tasked with many venture capital mandates for the Government of Québec, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Société générale de financement du Québec. He also acted as financial advisor to large organizations including Provigo, Métro, Rona, Bell Canada and the Canadian Red Cross. Very active throughout his career, Mr. Labrèche has given speeches, led countless seminars on business valuation and financing and written articles on the topic for the business magazine Commerce and the La Presse newspaper. Mr. Labrèche has served on the boards of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators and of Réseau Capital. Diane Lafontaine

Diane Lafontaine joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in June 2021, becoming the seventh woman appointed to the Fonds' management team this year. Prior to this appointment, she was Chief Operating Officer (Québec) at Rise People, a digital HR|AssureTech SME, since 2019. Ms. Lafontaine brings to the position a wealth of experience in management, marketing, communication, digital transformation and customer experience acquired at various well-known organizations. From 2011 to 2019, she served as Assistant Vice-President of Marketing and Communications at Sun Life, a global leader in financial services. Before that, she spent 12 years in various leadership roles at Radio-Canada and RDI, where she led the planning and execution of major advertising and brand campaigns. During her tenure there from 1999 to 2011, several creative projects took home major awards at PROMAX-BDA in Los Angeles and New York. Ms. Lafontaine also worked at the Canadian Space Agency managing communications for many high-profile missions. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, École nationale d'administration publique (ENAP) and Université Laval, Ms. Lafontaine holds the designation of Certified Corporate Director (CCD and C.Dir). She has been involved in governance for many years, serving on various boards of directors, including that of the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) and the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ).

Dominic Lemieux

Dominic Lemieux is the United Steelworkers Québec Director and was Assistant to the Québec Director from January 2016 to March 2020. He previously worked as the union's North Shore Regional Coordinator. Following his studies in mining, he began his career in the Abitibi gold mines and then returned to work at Stelco (now ArcelorMittal) in Contrecoeur. He quickly developed an interest in occupational health and safety and became an activist on the USW Local 6951 Executive, which led to his appointment as a USW union representative in 2008. Mr. Lemieux travelled throughout Québec as a member of the Steelworkers' organizing team. He also has led major bargaining with multinationals such as Rio Tinto, Alcoa, Lafarge, ArcelorMittal, Glencore and many others. He holds a certificate in health and safety from Université de Montréal and completed the Harvard University Trade Union Program. He chaired the FTQ Youth Committee from 2007 to 2009 and played a key role in a determined campaign that led to a ban in 2018 on two-tier pension and benefit plans in Québec workplaces. Mr. Lemieux has served on various boards including Formabois, Bureau de la sécurité privé, Comité paritaire des agents de sécurité du Québec, CSMO Mines, Fonds régional de la Côte-Nord and Juripop. He currently sits on the advisory committee of FinTaxi. Dominic Lemieux joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ Board of Directors in January 2020.

Françoise E. Lyon

Françoise E. Lyon has been President and Managing Partner at DGC International Inc. (formerly DGC Capital) since September 2017 and serves as an expert advisor to several small and medium-sized start-ups and investment committees. She has more than 27 years of experience in senior finance positions at prominent firms such as Merrill Lynch, National Bank of Canada and Bank of America. Ms. Lyon was appointed Chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Gallery of Canada by the Government of Canada in December 2017 and was named Chair of the Association of Québec Women in Finance in October 2018. She is currently a Board member of the International Women's Forum Canada and served on the Board of the Washington-based IWF Leadership Foundation for 10 years, including 2 years as Chair. She chairs the Board of the IWF Global Endowment, also in Washington. She is the Ambassadors Chair of CITIZN Canada and a Board member of Bopper Music and Ecologyst in British Columbia. Frédéric Brisson

Frédéric Brisson has been the General Secretary of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE-Québec) since May 2021. He was President of the Provincial Social Affairs Council from October 2017 to May 2021 and has served on the local executive as Director, Grievance Officer, Vice-President and President. Active in the labour movement since 2004, Mr. Brisson has held various positions such as vice-president and president and has sat on several committees including the Public Services Negotiating Committee, where he negotiated the 2020-2022 public sector collective agreement for the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleurs du Québec (FTQ). He also negotiated the group insurance plan contracts for the FTQ Intersectoral Parity Committee (Group 6000) for 2019, 2020 and 2021. Mr. Brisson worked for 20 years as a patient attendant in the operating room of Université Laval's Québec Heart and Lung Institute. Frédéric Brisson joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ Board of Directors in May 2021.

Geoffrey Bainbridge

Geoffrey Bainbridge has been Vice-President, Human Resources since March 2016. In this role, he sits on the Fonds' Management Committee and is responsible for human resources management and organizational development. He has 30 years' experience in this area and has developed an extensive expertise in business integration and planning, process reengineering, transformation and reorganization, project start-up and skills management. Prior to joining the Fonds, Mr. Bainbridge was Vice-President, Human Resources at McKesson Canada, the country's largest pharmaceutical distributor, as well as at CGI and Radialpoint. He also held various positions at Bombardier, where he was Director, Organizational Development, Recreational Products Division, then Vice-President, Human Resources, Total Transit Systems Division and then Senior Director, Americas' Centre of Excellence. Mr. Bainbridge holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Industrial Relations and a minor in Sociology from McGill University.

Gilles Poulin joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1998. Employed for nine years by the Fonds, he participated in many business investment transactions and represented the Fonds on 15 boards. He returned to the Fonds network as Senior Investment Director in 2010 to manage a team of professionals. Mr. Poulin has over 25 years of experience in financing, business sales and acquisitions, investments and management as an institutional investor in times of difficulty, growth and corporate challenges. During his career, he worked for CIBC Bank and National Bank of Canada in financing public and private companies, as well as for the international firm KPMG, where he was a member of the mergers and acquisitions team. Ms. Béïque joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2000 as Vice-President, Legal Affairs, and Corporate Secretary. She joined the investment sector in 2008, where she served in turn as Senior Vice-President, New Economy, and Senior Vice-President, Natural Resources, Industries, Entertainment and Consumer Goods. In 2017, she was promoted to Chief of Investments and Strategic Investment Initiatives. Drawing on this experience and her many accomplishments, she was one-year later appointed Executive Vice-President, Investments. In 2021, she became the first woman be nominated as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds. Holder of a law degree from Université de Montréal, Ms. Béïque was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1991. In 2005, she was named by L'Expert magazine as one of the Top 40 Corporate Counsel Under 40. In 2014, she won the ZSA award in the "Accomplishment and Business Strategy" category. She has been a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors since 2012 and in 2015 earned an MBA from Georgetown University and ESADE University. In 2016 and 2018, she was named an "Innovation Leader" by the Government of Canada and asked to moderate roundtables in Quebec and the Maritimes with a view to helping the federal government develop its innovation strategy. Ms. Béïque sits on the board of Groupe CH, Groupe Functionalab, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and Aéro Montréal.

Marc-André Girard

Marc-André Girard is an experience corporate finance, accounting and business and valuation professional. He is currently a Partner of KPMG, in the Advisory, Restructuring and Turnaround service line. He began his career as Financial Analyst at ART Advanced Research Technologies before joining Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, where he held various positions, including Senior Manager and Team Leader. Subsequently, he has been in charge of the valuation of privately-held investments at Fondaction CSN before moving on to KPMG. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he has been involved on the Board of Directors of the Corporation du Collège St-Sacrement and acted as Director and Treasurer for the CPE Le Vent dans les Voiles. He was also a marker for the Membership Qualification Examination of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators for several years. Mr. Girard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from UQAM and a Master of Finance from Université de Sherbrooke. Michèle Colpron has been well known in her profession for nearly 30 years and has more than 10 years of international experience. She has been a corporate director since 2012. During her 12 years at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Ms. Colpron was Senior Vice-President, Financial Management, ensuring sound management of the organization's treasury activities and coordinating financing activities on bond markets. She was also responsible for the organization's performance measurement for its portfolios and strategies. Prior to that, she was Vice-President, Investment Administration, responsible for the Caisse's private equity operations, and also served as Vice-President, Finance and Administration, for the private equity portfolios. Internationally, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Standard Chartered Bank and Merrill Lynch Bank in Switzerland. She started her career in auditing at Ernst & Young, working in Montréal, London and Hong Kong. She currently sits on the boards of Québecor Inc. and the Infrastructure Bank of Canada and is Vice-Chair of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC). Holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, she is a Fellow of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants and a chartered corporate director. Natacha Bernier joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1995 as Legal Advisor. Me Bernier deals with the many legal facets of the Fonds' investment operations. From defining the legal structure of transactions to their negotiation and closing, Me Bernier is involved at each step of the investment process. She is also actively involved in portfolio management. For several years, she acted as Secretary at Société de gestion d'actifs forestiers Solifor LP. The mission of this company, whose principal partner is the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ, is the acquisition and management of forestland in Québec. A member of the Barreau du Québec since 1994, Me Bernier earned her law degree from Université de Montréal.

Normand Bélanger joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ network in 1987. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ, he served in several roles within the network: Senior Vice-President, Aerospace, Construction, Services and Transportation; Investment Vice-President, Construction, Real Estate and Export Development; Investment Director, Turnaround; Portfolio Manager; Financial Advisor; Financial Analyst; and Development Agent. Mr. Bélanger studied financial management at HEC Montréal, industrial relations at Université de Montréal and administration at Université du Québec à Montréal. A member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles agréés du Québec, he also received a corporate governance certificate from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés of Université Laval. Paul-André Moisan

Paul-André Moisan joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1996 as a Marketing Analyst before being appointed Senior Marketing Advisor. His duties include formulating recommendations for investment projects, advising the investment team and prospecting, tracking and furthering the growth of companies in the portfolio. In order to remain abreast of current trends, Mr. Moisan attends numerous economic conferences in the aerospace and forestry products industries. He also helps the Fonds prospect for investment projects. Prior to his arrival at the Fonds, Paul-André Moisan worked in marketing research for various organizations such as CRIQ. Holder of a bachelor's degree in marketing from HEC Montréal, he completed a B2B marketing program at the same university.

Pierre Maillé

Pierre Maillé has over 35 years of experience in business valuation and financial analysis in various industries. He joined PwC in 1981 and after heading, as a partner, the Valuation, Modelling and Disputes group for the Québec region until 2016. Now he serves as a consultant for the firm. During his career, Mr. Maillé has been involved in valuating businesses, analyzing investments and developing financing strategies in the context of start-up, restructuring, M&A and investment projects. He has also served as a financial expert for the quantification of damages in commercial litigation cases and gained a wealth of experience in the valuation of intangible assets, including technologies, patents, trademarks and intellectual property. Pierre Maillé is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV). In 2009, he joined its Board of Directors and subsequently became a member of the Institute's Executive Committee. He has also served as the Board's Chair. In 2016, he was granted the designation of Fellow (FEEE) of the CICBV. Mr. Maillé was also a member of the Advisory Forum Working Group of the International Valuation Standards Council from 2015 to 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University as well as a Master of Science in Administration from HEC Montréal.

Pierre-Maurice Vachon

Pierre-Maurice Vachon is a well-known personality in the Beauce region where he is both a businessman and a political figure. He has worn several hats, first as CEO, then corporate director, followed by prefect and mayor. To this day, he remains interested in business and management. Between 1990 and 2003, Mr. Vachon was CEO and chairman of Cartem, a company he helped found in 1977. He served as mayor of Sainte-Marie for 16 years as well as prefect of the Nouvelle-Beauce CMA and president of the Fédération québécoise des municipalités (FQM). Earlier in his career, Mr. Vachon was the manager of production-related administrative services at the family company, Les G teaux Vachon, where he remained for 10 years. Mr. Vachon has been a board member of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ since 2005 and a member of the Turnaround Board since 2004. He also serves on the boards of, among others, SSQ General Insurance Company, P.H. Tech and the Fonds régional de solidarité FTQ - Chaudière-Appalaches.

Renata Eva Milczarek

Renata Eva Milczarek is a business valuation expert who has been providing business valuation and forensic accounting services at Mareval S.E.N.C.R.L., a firm she co-founded in 2014. She has more than 30 years of international experience in auditing, accounting, finance and investment, including financial analysis and private placement for a variety of companies. She has held key positions in various firms such as KPMG (Bermuda office), Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (Montréal office), Russell Investment Group, based in Paris, and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, at their Paris and Warsaw offices. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators and has been a member of the advisory board of numerous investment funds and the supervisory board of a Hungarian pension fund manager. Ms. Milczarek was in charge of opening the Warsaw office of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and developing a network of contacts throughout the region in cooperation with Québec companies interested in pursuing business opportunities in Central Europe. She has been a speaker at various conferences in Europe and North America on valuation, forensic accounting and private placement. Ms. Milczarek holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from McGill University, where she was a lecturer. She is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés (CPA, CA, CFF, CF).

Richard L. Moss

Richard Moss joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2003 as Senior Marketable Securities Advisor, Québec Public Markets. He is also part of the multidisciplinary teams of many sectors, including Turnaround and Special Projects. His duties include executing large stock transactions. Mr. Moss has worked in the financial field since 1986, acquiring solid expertise as, among others, an analyst and manager at Caisse de dépôt et de placement du Québec and as a pension fund specialist at Domtar. Richard Moss holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal and an MBA with a Finance concentration from Université de Sherbrooke. He is also a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).

Roger A. Renaud

Roger A. Renaud has over 12 years of experience as CEO of investment management firms, as well as extensive experience serving on the boards of Canadian and international corporations. Mr. Renaud was President (Canada) and then Global Chief Operating Officer of Manulife Asset Management, a company with over $450 billion of assets under management. He was actively involved in the merger of the Canadian operations of Standard Life Investments with Manulife Asset Management and chaired the Global Operations Committee. For over 20 years, he held various high-level positions, including President of Standard Life Investments and Senior Vice-President, Group Savings and Retirement at Standard Life of Canada. Mr. Renaud has been a board member of the Centre de thé tre d'aujourd'hui since 2013. For more than 10 years he chaired the organizing committee of the "Action 21" charity event, lending his support to the Down Syndrome Research Foundation. He was also a frequent speaker on investment- and pension plan-related topics at various industry forums. Mr. Renaud holds a B.Sc. in actuarial science and is a certified financial analyst (CFA). He also completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School and the Directors Education Program at McGill University.

Serge Cadieux

Serge Cadieux joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2020 as Executive Vice-President, Business Development, Savings Market, and Centre de formation économique. As executive vice-president, he also serves on the Fonds' Executive Committee. Prior to his arrival at the Fonds, Mr. Cadieux had a long career in the labour movement. From 2013 to 2019, he served as Secretary General of the FTQ. From 1983 to 2013, he was employed by the Syndicat des employés(es) professionnels(les) et de bureau, where he held various positions including advisor, lawyer, executive director and national president. He was also a lecturer at Université de Montréal, where he taught law in the occupational health and safety certificate program from 1995 to 2003. He has sat on the following boards of directors: Conseil consultatif du travail et de la main-d'œuvre, Commission des normes de l'équité et de la santé et sécurité du travail (CNESST), Fonds de solidarité FTQ, Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ and Fondation Le Berlingot. Mr. Cadieux holds a Bachelor of Law from Université du Québec à Montréal (1990) and has been a member of the Québec Bar since 1992. He is also a graduate of Université de Montréal in occupational health and safety (1983) and industrial relations (1984). He holds the title of certified corporate director (ASC), having completed the university-accredited corporate governance certification program of Université Laval's Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.

Sonia Éthier

Sonia Éthier has been involved in the labour movement for over 25 years. In the course of her work, she has been called upon to manage occupational health and safety, pay equity and public policy issues, as well as inter-union relations, national bargaining and international files. She began her career as an educator, spending 10 years at the Sorel-Tracy School Board before becoming president of the Syndicat de l'enseignement du Bas-Richelieu, a position she held from 1992 to 2015. In 2018, she was appointed First Vice-President of the Centrale des syndicats du Québec (CSQ) and that same year was promoted to President. She stepped down in June 2021 and is now a corporate director. Sonia Éthier holds a bachelor's degree in special education (1982), a certificate in health and safety (1995) from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a certificate in mathematics and science (1988) from Université du Québec à Montréal. Ms. Éthier joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ Board of Directors in September 2019.

Sylvain Paré - EVP

Sylvain Paré has been Executive Vice-President, Finance, of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ since January 2015. In this role, he sits on the Fonds' Management Committee and oversees four corporate functions: financial control, tax, financial management and integrated risk management. He also chairs the Integrated Risk Management Advisory Committee. Previously, during his tenure as Vice-President, Financial Management and Strategy, from 2006 to 2014, he spearheaded the development of an integrated risk management program, implemented a financial compliance program and overhauled the organization's integrated financial asset management policy. Prior to joining the Fonds, Mr. Paré was Executive Director, Finance and Capital Management, at the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec from 2004-2006, and from 2002 to 2004 served a Vice-President, Finance and Treasury, at Desjardins Financial Corporation. Before that, he was CFO of Netgraphe, a subsidiary of Quebecor Média. Before joining Quebecor, he spent 10 years in various management positions at Royal Bank of Canada. Sylvain Paré has been a Board member of SSQ Financial Group since December 2011 and also sits on its audit committee and its executive and human resources committee. He maintains an active social commitment, serving on the Board of Épilepsie Montréal Métropolitain since 1998 and acting as the organization's treasurer. Mr. Paré holds the CPA/CGA designation and is a graduate of École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) de Montréal, where he earned a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration (major in Finance).

Sylvain Tellier

Sylvain Tellier joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2007 as Tax Specialist in the Taxation office. Prior to his recruitment by the organization, he worked for various prominent accounting firms. Mr. Tellier has sound expertise in taxation, more specifically, corporate restructuring, estate planning, and scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED) tax credit financing. He also has excellent knowledge of securities. Holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from UQÀM as well as a master's degree in taxation from Université de Sherbrooke, Sylvain Tellier is also a Chartered Accountant (CA). He has almost 20 years of experience in taxation.

Sylvie Nelson

Active in the labour movement for 35 years, Sylvie Nelson made history in October 2017 by becoming the first woman to be elected as president of SQUESS-298 (FTQ). At the same time, she was appointed FTQ vice-president representing the Service Employees International Union (UIES). Ms. Nelson began her career as an aide in a Laval rehabilitation centre for physical and intellectual disabilities. Her interest in and concern for this clientele led her to become a specialized educator. Over the years, she demonstrated a keen commitment to labour activism and was especially active on her local union executive board. She was president of her base unit for over 25 years and was elected member of two provincial public sector bargaining committees, serving as technical representative in two major files: salary relativity and pay equity. In 1997 Ms. Nelson was hired by SQEES-298 member services as an advisor and in 2010 became a coach in the training department. Appointed secretary general in 2011, she assumed responsibility for the training department, political action committee and intercultural and mobilization committee, as well as management of administrative staff. In 2016 she was elected FTQ vice-president representing women in the FTQ. Throughout her career, Sylvie Nelson has always been known for her activism and dedication to advancing the cause of women, particularly as regards their living standards and working conditions.

Yvon Barrière

The members of PSAC-Quebec elected Yvon Barrière as Regional Executive Vice-President in June 2018. In this role, he represents more than 40,000 members and chairs PSAC's Quebec Council. At the regional level, organizing, education, equity and women's programs, area councils and directly chartered locals are under his purview. Yvon is also Vice-President of the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec and a member of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ board of directors. Prior to his election as Regional Executive Vice-President of PSAC-Quebec, Yvon served as Regional Vice-President of the Union of Safety and Justice Employees (USJE), a position he held since 2014. From 2002 to 2014, Yvon was a correctional programs officer. During this time, he cultivated a reputation for empathy and constructive interventions for the prison community. He is a determined and passionate activist who firmly believes in solidarity, democratic, fair and equitable unionism. He is actively engaged in the community of his home region of Drummondville, where he volunteers as a sports coach and director of sports associations, and regularly gives of his time to various community organizations. Yvon holds a bachelor of arts degree and a diploma in administration from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

Éric Boisjoly

Driven by the defence of workers' rights in the construction industry, Éric Boisjoly has built strong ties with the labour movement during his career, which he began as a construction labourer. He subsequently became a crane operator and a journeyman crane operator. A member of Local 791G, which represents some 1,200 crane operator members, he was named site delegate and regional delegate to represent crane operators in the Montréal metropolitan area. Soon after, he was appointed General Manager. In 2011 he became Assistant General Manager of FTQ-Construction and in 2018 his current role of General Manager. Mr. Boisjoly is also Vice-President of the FTQ as well as a Board member of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ and the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ). From 2015 to 2019, he was a member of the construction industry's professional training committee (CCQ) and since 2018 has been a member of the FTQ Pension Committee and the CCQ Benefits Committee. In 2013, he acted as negotiator for the collective agreements of the institutional, commercial and industrial sectors. He also represented FTQ-Construction on various round tables, including a jurisdictional dispute resolution committee, a workforce mobility file and a Québec-Ontario agreement. In addition to a diploma of vocational studies in crane operation from the Commission scolaire des Trois-Lacs, Mr. Boisjoly has also completed several union training courses and training related to pension plans and employee benefits.
