Jess is responsible for SCRI's overall organization health and strategy as well as overseeing the consulting arm of SCRI. Jess brings a decade of experience in developing innovative solutions for underserved and underrepresented youth, and is also a former middle school math teacher. Jess holds BS degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Vermont.

Lauren's innovative idea to create SCRI provides affordable access for youth service providers who would otherwise not be able to partner with sector experts.
Lauren joined BellXcel in 2011 and served in several leadership roles prior to being named CEO in 2017, including Vice President of Program Impact, President and Chief Strategy Officer.
Lauren also serves as a board member for Roca, a community-based organization determined to be a relentless force in disrupting incarceration, poverty and racism by engaging young adults, police and systems at the center of urban violence to address trauma, find hope and drive change.
Lauren is the proud mother of an active and beautiful teenaged daughter.
Laurene Sperling served on BellXcel's Board of Directors for 14 years, almost all as Chair. She continues to be a friend, supporter, thought leader, and strategic partner.
