ST. GEORGE FOODSERVICE - Key Persons

Jim Hondros

Job Titles:
  • Distribution Supervisor
Skip is the resident jokester at St. George. He loves to have a good laugh with his colleagues as he works, because he's quite cheeky, but also because his work day begins at 2 am.

Katrina Alonas

Job Titles:
  • Head of Accounts
After eight years working with St. George, Katrina still loves coming to work every day. It all began with her looking for a part-time job that had true flexibility, and when she landed the job at St. George, she quickly found it was the right fit for her. There's nothing like driving around the city at night. It's super quiet, peaceful and beautiful. That's one of the things Paul loves about being a driver with St. George, a job he's held for over 14 years now.

Murray Bamford

Job Titles:
  • HR Manager
With 12 trucks, two vans, 11 drivers and hundreds of deliveries to manage, it might be an understatement to say that Jim has a busy job. But it's one he just loves to do.

Nick Haros - Managing Director

Job Titles:
  • Managing Director
  • Owner
Nick Haros always knew he was destined to work in St. George Foodservice after he graduated from university. And it was not because of family pressure or expectations to work in the family business his parents founded in 1980. One of the things Murray loves about being an HR manager is that he can facilitate keeping the lines of communication open. Not only does he see this as his specialty because he has a knack for it, but he derives a lot of satisfaction out of seeing employees being able to develop in their position and to move within the company and in the industry.

Paul Hardas

Job Titles:
  • Owners of Catering Juggernaut Bella Catering

Sophia Papadatos

Job Titles:
  • Purchasing
We all know the old saying that 'you only live once'. For Geoff, this has become his motto in life because he's actually lived twice.

Sophie Salami

Job Titles:
  • Customer Service Officer
The first thing you'll notice about Sophie as soon as she begins talking, is that she's in a great mood. If positivity was a hat, she'd certainly be wearing one every day. But it's really quite simple for her. She loves working with people. For anyone who thinks purchasing is all about paperwork, you haven't lived in Sophia's shoes for a day! "A key part of my role is understanding what's happening with the food market. It's my knowledge of the products, particularly the new ones, that affects what solutions St. George is able to offer to our customers."
