Felicia Balzomo

Felicia has been teaching dance for all ages and levels since the age of 16. She teaches various styles such as hip hop, jazz/tap, lyrical and specializes in musical theatre, acting and vocals. Felicia is currently a student at the College of Staten Island studying to be a teacher in English Dramatic Literature with a minor in dance. She has taken various workshops at Broadway dance center and is certified by Dance and Gym USA. She also has certification in Acting and Ballet terminology as well as certification in Early Care and education by the childcare institute. Felicia has been involved in many community events. She loves to get children involved with the community by visiting nursing homes, running fundraiser and producing shows for the community to be a part of. In 2010 she wrote directed and choreographed her first solo community theatre show. It was a great success and she has been producing unique self written and directed shows ever since. In her spare time she assists with the theatre program at Susan E. Wagner High School through assistant directing, and choreographing. She hopes to continue sharing her love and knowledge of dance and theatre with children for years to come.

Jennifer Verhey

Jennifer has been dancing for over 20 years. She has been trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap and modern and was offered dance scholarships to Suny Brockport College and C.W Post. She was a cheerleader for the New Jersey Xtreme NIFL indoor football team on Staten Island in 2004 and 2005. She has performed in competitive dancing becoming a Platinum and Gold medalist in tap, jazz, and lyrical and enjoys taking classes at Broadway Dance Center in her free time. Jennifer is a graduate of the College of Staten Island and is currently completing her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Touro College. Her passion and love of dance has led to many experiences in performing and teaching.

Kristina Ferraro-Eberle

Kristina is the Owner and Artistic Director of Rhythm Central. She has been dancing for over 30 years and is a certified Dance Instructor and a member of the prestigious Dance Educators of America. She has studied and trained with dance professionals such as Frank Hatchett, Ron De Vito, Joe Lanteri, Charles Kelly, Mia Michaels, and Roni Mahler, just to name a few. Kristina is also the former Miss Staten Island of 1994, a Miss America preliminary, and she was also able to compete for the Miss New York crown. Kristina attended Wagner College on a Performing Arts scholarship and majored in Elementary Education. As a chief choreographer, Kristina is an accomplished dancer and instructor in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Fitness. She is an award winning choreographer and has received numerous awards, such as the Entertainer Of The Year Award in 2007 and 2008 along with multiple high score awards at regional and national dance competitions. Kristina's students have gone on to appear in commercials, movies, magazines and even the Broadway stage.

Lauren Petti-Verhey

Lauren has been dancing for over 20 years. She has an extensive background in dance, training as a dancer & performer all her life. From the start, Lauren was quickly recognized for having natural dance talent. She is a former member of Rhythm Central's Elite Company and has competed at regional and national levels. Lauren attended the Hunter College Dance Program and has always had a tremendous devotion to dance, pursuing any opportunity that would enhance her skills as a dancer. Through her career she has studied a broad range of dance styles and attended numerous workshops in jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, modern and improvisation. She attends classes at Broadway Dance Center & various dance workshops to maintain her skills. Lauren has been teaching and choreographing for recreational and competitive dance classes for several years and is an award winning choreographer at both regional and national levels.

Stephanie Accardo

Stephanie has danced and been involved in the performing arts since she was a child. She was cast in leading dance roles in her High School Performing Arts Program and has competed at regional and national levels for many years, earning numerous solid gold and platinum awards, as well as overall high scores and judges' awards. She was the National title winner of "Miss That's Entertainment" in 2008 and the Natinal title winner of "Miss Teen Dance Arts Plus" in both 2006 and 2007. Through her career she has studied a broad range of dance styles such as jazz, ballet, modern, tap, contemporary, lyrical, african and musical theatre. Stephanie Cruz

Stephanie is currently the Assistant Director at Rhythm Central. A native Staten Islander, Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree at St. John's University, Master of Science in Elementary Education at Wagner College. She is a certified Dance Instructor and a member of the prestigious Dance Educators of America. Stephanie began her long dance career at the age of 3 with Julia Brande, a former Ziegfield Follies, and has continued to study with numerous professionals such as Gus Giordano, Frank Hatchett, Charles Kelly, Ron De Vito and Luigi. Stephanie has been teaching for over 35 years and has received numerous awards, such as the Entertainer Of The Year Award in 2007 and 2008 along with multiple high score awards at regional and national dance competitions for her choreography. Her students can be found performing and teaching throughout the country.
