Amee Gray - CEO

Amee Gray has been building access to healthcare solutions for two decades. Prior to building a technology marketplace solution for addiction and mental health, Amee helped to connect catastrophic injury patients with physicians and vital services for those who were suffering from traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries and severe burns. After a loved one narrowly survived an overdose, she turned her expertise to addressing the accessibility gap in addiction treatment. With RecoverWell, Amee uses her vast knowledge of healthcare systems and network solutions to address the issues that are devastating our communities: addiction and mental health. Utilizing technology as a conduit for fast and effective access, RecoverWell is bridging the gap between crisis and recovery to help reduce the occurrence of relapse, overdose deaths and suicide. Amee holds advanced degrees in anthropology, communications, education and marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and California State University.

Angelique S. Campen

Angelique S. Campen, MD is a mother of three, an Emergency Medicine Physician, and an entrepreneur. As a graduate of Marlborough, Georgetown University, and UCLA School of Medicine, Angelique has served as Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Providence St Joseph Medical Center in Burbank and faculty in emergency medicine at UCLA. She is also founder of Vital Medical Services, which provides COVID-19 testing, medi- cal clearances and DUI blood draws at law enforcement facilities and thus reduces ER overcrowding.

Aya Almasi - CCO

Aya graduated from the University of Southern California in 2021 with a degree in Journalism. She has a wide range of communications experience in various roles over the years-from social media, journalism, documentary production, digital marketing, and more. Most recently, Aya took charge of client-facing communications for Tiffany Haddish's nonprofit, She Ready Foundation. Now, she leverages her savviness in both language and technology as RecoverWell's Director of Communications to further its mission of transforming access to treatment for those with mental health and substance use disorders.

Cori Dale

Cori brings 3 years of experience in the substance use recovery field as RecoverWell's Community Manager for Los Angeles. Prior to her position at RecoverWell, Cori was the director of business development at a prominent treatment facility, so she understands what it takes to execute business development from the ground up. Now, Cori is responsible for building out RecoverWell's presence among mental health and treatment providers in Los Angeles - and beyond.

Emily McPherson

Emily is a full-stack engineer, bringing a decade of experience in med-tech, cybersecurity, systems, and software development. She has worked with RecoverWell since its early inception and is excited to continue developing the platform to provide the best experience possible for patients, advocates, and organizations. Emily holds a BS in Computer Science from University of Maryland Global College and is working on a Master of Information and Data Science at UC Berkeley.

Harry Nelson

Harry Nelson is one of the leading legal experts in matters related to addiction treatment and behavioral health in America. In addition to several other books, he is the author of the best-selling The United States of Opioids: A Prescription of Liberating a Nation in Pain. He is the founder and managing partner of Nelson Hardiman LLP, a leading law firm focused on healthcare and life sciences innovation based in Los Angeles, California, where he advises clients on regulatory and business strategy. Harry has received extensive awards and recognition for his advocacy and legal reform efforts to improve U.S. healthcare.

Jennifer Arango

Jennifer is RecoverWell's community manager for Orange County. She has over a decade of experience in the medical field, and business development for behavioral health and addiction services. Her mother's battle with cancer opened the door to the disparities and broken communication with providers, insurance companies, and patient advocates. Wanting to learn more about fixing this problem within our healthcare system, she attended and graduated from USC in healthcare administration. This led to her passion for streamlining services in underserved communities, educating patients on how to navigate the system, and advocating for addiction services expansion for the state of California.

Patrick Sala

Patrick graduated from the University of Notre Dame and spent the next ten years as a technology consultant at Accenture. Each year brought on additional responsibilities and lessons of how technology, software implementation and business needs intersected at some of the top companies in the world. His experience is as varied across industries (healthcare, retail, telecom, public sector) as it is across business functions (finance, HR, technical architecture). Over time, Patrick grew from being a team member, to serving as a project leader, becoming an account leader and then most recently joining a regional leadership team responsible for a rapidly growing practice in the Midwest. He has seen firsthand what it means to be successful at the highest levels from a technology aspect. His goal is to grow RecoverWell into a best in class digital healthcare company, rooted in security and forward thinking technology.

Tyler Peppel
