Williams Roofing was started in 1982 by Bernard "Bernie" Williams in Waterville, he worked hard long hours gaining a reputation for doing a quality job at a fair price. Starting with a five man crew he made the sales, installed the shingles, and was the last one left on the ground cleaning before making sure each customer was happy with the result. Having his son Jarrod help when school didn't conflict he was there by his dads side from 7 years old learning the trade. He was able to expand to multiple crews and increase the services to include shingling, cedar shingles, and gutters helping customers get a one stop shopping location for all shingleing needs. Once Jarrod graduated from Husson College in 1997 they were able to expand into Bangor giving Williams Roofing an ability to cover all of central Maine.
