Alisa Fleischmann - CMO

Alisa joined GroupNexus as Head of Marketing in 2019 with the aim of driving the brand forward. Alisa is an innovative and strategic thinker, who utilises new trends, technology and best practices to deliver best in class marketing solutions. She's focused on positioning GroupNexus as the market leading parking solutions provider, to both our traditional clients, as well as the wider data and marketing communities.

Andy Cooper

Andy joined GroupNexus in 2021 as Head of Insights and Analytics, where his focus is to drive growth and added value through commercial and data-driven analysis, and to enhance insights both internally and to our Clients. With a degree in Business Economics, and CIMA qualified, Andy began working life as a Management Accountant within the Manufacturing Industry. However it was the analytical aspects of Finance that Andy was passionate about, which led him to his next role within the Motorway Services sector (where we enjoyed working together!). Andy brings with him extensive Business Partnering and Analytics experience, and joins GroupNexus at a very exciting time of technological change. Outside of work, Andy is a keen cricket fan. However with three children (all girls!), Andy opts for the less time-consuming sports of running and swimming.

Ashleigh Lewis - CFO

Ashleigh spent 20 years of her career with Moto, the largest UK Motorway Service Area operator, holding various board level positions including Finance Director, Strategy Director, Retail Director and Commercial Director. Delivering impressive returns to multiple blue-chip and private equity investors. Ashleigh is proud to have played a part in transforming the Motorway Service Area industry, introducing high street brands such as M&S Simply Food, Costa Coffee, Greggs and WHSmith. Prior to joining GroupNexus, Ashleigh was Chief Financial Officer of the Thurlow Nunn Group, a highly respected family business operating in Motor Retail and Agriculture. She was responsible for leading the overall financial strategy for the business in a time of consolidation, re-investment and change. Ashleigh is an ACCA qualified accountant, having qualified in industry in 2000. Living in Milton Keynes with her son, she enjoys cycling, running and can be persuaded to take part in challenges to raise money for charitable causes and test her endurance - her latest challenge was the 2023 London Marathon. Ashleigh joins GroupNexus at an exciting time - with responsibility for leading the finance function of the group to support the next phase of our growth.

Clive Neifeld

Clive qualified to practise law in South Africa and is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and is also qualified as Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand and in New South Wales, Australia. Clive has practised as a partner in law firms in Central London and in Auckland New Zealand undertaking work involving company and commercial law, franchise law, commercial property, intellectual property and also litigation matters. With his wide ranging experience gained in over 40 years in legal practice, Clive brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business with specialist help to the business in the area of contracts which is so important.

Darren Brooks

Job Titles:

Darren joined GroupNexus in 2005 as an Operations Manager and rapidly expanded a large portfolio of sites delivering parking and security services across the South. Darren was instrumental in working with business development to establish the company's first Facilities Management contract and growing this side of the business into what is now an integrated group product. Darren has a comprehensive background in the logistics industry, having served for 22 years with the Logistics Corp within the HM Armed Forces. His expertise includes health and safety legislation, transport policy, training and assessment of personal and operational deployment in high pressure environments. Darren is currently Head of Quality Assurance and Standards and manages a far reaching portfolio of responsibilities, including accreditation to ISO 9001 2015 Quality Management , ISO 14001 2015 Environmental Management, Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme, British Parking Association Approved Operator Scheme and Safe Contractor, to mention a few. Darren has introduced and controls a robust management and training system, to ensure the services provided operationally deliver an outstanding customer and client experience and regularly carries out internal audits to confirm the standards are maintained throughout the services the group provide.

David Walsh

  • Senior Contract & Bid Manager
David joined the company in 2008, leaving behind the banking industry and taking up the position of Contract Manager and Bid Coordinator. Having read Electronic Engineering at university, David has always had a fascination with technology and uses his knowledge and experience to champion and implement intuitive parking management systems for a range of different clients. During David's time at GroupNexus, he has worked in a number of sectors; including universities, charity and equity trusts and also has a vast amount of experience working with the NHS, currently overseeing 18 hospital sites. David also helped to implement and manage our first hospital contracts in Spain, in Palma and Oviedo, which continue to be a success. With his fastidious and technical nature, he helps ensure that clients extract best value from their parking operations whilst maximising their income potential. In his spare time, his interests include cycling, F1 and technology.

Elli Morris

Elli joined Ranger Services in 2004 shortly after its inception; and was appointed as CEO in 2012/13. The exponential growth in the business during his time as CEO led to the acquisition of the company by CP Plus in 2015. Elli completed a diploma in humanistic counselling; and achieved an MBA with merit from Imperial College London, both of which underpin his commitment and ability to grow a business whilst maintaining the core values that put staff and customer needs at the heart of the vision. Elli was closely involved in the integration of Ranger and CP Plus into GroupNexus, seeing the companies grow into one of the largest and most profitable car parking businesses in the UK. He has been at the forefront of market-leading innovation, introducing and launching new products and services that have now become the de facto standards across the car parking industry, including both patented and award-winning solutions.

Ellis Green - CEO

Ellis co-founded the business, together with Ian Langdon and Max Green, his late Father, in 1991. Its founding expertise was providing Parking Management for the National Health Service, which at the time was a free-for-all - in both senses. The customer centric service the company provided to the NHS has guided the business ethos ever since. Ellis believes that success has come from listening to our clients and understanding their particular needs - even within the NHS and GroupNexus' many Hospital/ Healthcare clients, none are the same, each Hospital and Hospital Trust requires something slightly different. Over the last 30 years, Ellis has been truly amazed and inspired by watching and working with a group of people who are equally passionate about GroupNexus and delivering the future of parking. It gives Ellis a huge sense of satisfaction that so many of the team have grown with the Company and that the business has moved from a sole focus on the NHS to a myriad of other client sectors, whilst also enhancing the services offered. Seeing the world and technology moving faster than ever, and the change this brings to the industry, Ellis wanted to ensure that GroupNexus were not only ahead of the game but driving the changes - able to offer deeper and relevant technological opportunities to clients alongside traditional services. It is testament to Ellis that after 30 years, GroupNexus is still growing, and he plans to help continue this growth far into the future.

Gavin Povey - Chief Commercial Officer

With a background in engineering, Gavin turned his hand to car parking in 1999 when he joined CP Plus's Development Team. Gavin and his team guide potential clients through the process of selecting a parking scheme and offer specialist advice to ensure that the best possible solution is selected. With a commercial focus to maximise efficiency of parking spaces and a service ethos to improve the customer experience. Using a consultative approach, Gavin has been instrumental in taking the business into new sectors and environments and manages a large number of client relationships which have been key to maintaining the firm's stability and growth. With a genuine interest in parking technologies and innovation, Gavin has developed systems in conjunction with equipment and solution providers to deal with unique and sometimes quirky parking scenarios. Some say that car parking is not ‘rocket science', however Gavin insists that his Quantum Leap from engineering to car park management is set to change that.

Gordon Andrews

Gordon is one of the big success stories of the company, having joined in 1991 and worked his way up to managing a team of 400 field operatives. Always on the lookout for staff who excel at their job, Gordon relishes nothing more than seeing members of his team advancing in the same way as he has done, through the various training programs that he has sought out or put together. As the demands of the role have increased over the years, Gordon has adapted and built a strong team around him to manage the company's ISO, SIA Approved Contractor and other accreditations.

Grahame Rose

  • Board Member of the British Parking Association
Grahame joined CP Plus in 1995. Coming from a small business background his ‘hands on', service orientated approach fitted in perfectly with the business outlook. Charged with the responsibility of breathing new life into the company's development and marketing activities, he has continued innovating its products and services ever since. Grahame has been instrumental in the creation of GroupNexus, from a company that managed 28 sites when he joined to its current portfolio of over 1,200. Realising that the future will be technology focused and being curious about where this would take business, Grahame has been the driving force in moving the company's IT infrastructure and services into the 21st century. Under his direction, the business constantly looks to innovate and review its services and as such has widened its portfolio. GroupNexus now offers a range of non-core services to clients, such as security and facilities management. Grahame is a Board Member of the British Parking Association, regularly speaking at industry events and inputting into the new Parking (Code of Practice) Act.

Howard Calvert

Howard established a new Car Parking business for GroupNexus in Spain in 2012, initially via managing large public hospitals, in both the North and South of Spain and on the Islands. Howard has now brought barrierless parking to Spain, with over 12 new car parks signed up in the last year. He is responsible for leading our European expansion, and is currently researching other European cities. Howard is undoubtedly an entrepreneur, with a background at senior management and main board level, in both Public, Private and VC backed companies in a variety of sectors - Healthcare via nursing homes and domiciliary care, Graphic Arts & Printing, giftware, adhesives and chemicals, property development, stationery and fashion as well as parking. During Covid lockdown, Howard established and hosted a zoom based chat group to relieve the boredom with a couple of friends; The Whisky Club Zoom now has 1,400 members (by invitation only) and Howard has interviewed most of the current and previous cabinet, including Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss, Boris Johnson, Ambassadors, ministers, authors and TV and film personalities and more. Ian Langdon - COO

As a co-founder of the business, Ian has seen the company grow from a start-up, to one of the leading car park management companies in the UK employing over 450 people with over 1,200 sites under management. As Operations Director Ian is particularly proud of the company's staff retention rate and even prouder of the fact that his top-level management team of Operations Managers have all been promoted from within. He believes this shows the value the company has derived from its investment in training and personal development. Although the industry has changed dramatically since Ian began his career in 1991, he is key to ensuring that the values that helped the company grow, such as a quality service and putting the customer first, are maintained through the training programs, processes and company ethos.

Jonah Gubbay

Jonah joined GroupNexus in 2019, bringing extensive client-facing experience from multiple sectors within the engineering field. He was formerly an Account Director at Virgin Media, responsible for their largest financial sector Wi-Fi client, and General Manager at Tetratab , an SME manufacturing rugged tablets for the emergency services and commercial fleet market. Jonah is Head of Account Management at GroupNexus and is fortunate to work with a very experienced team. He strongly believes in ‘putting the client first' and has helped shape the new CRM system that has been rolled out across the business. He is a strong believer in the power of data and is very excited about the development of the NexusPlatform which allows clients to have full control of their estate.

Julie Taylor

Julie joined the company in 2014 and has headed up Operations within GroupNexus since 2016, playing an integral role in the operations aspects of the company merger. Julie has 33 Years of operational & General management and HR experience in the Automotive, Retail Automation & Distribution, Airline & Travel and Child Care sectors.

Kulvinder Maingi - CTO

As a seasoned technology executive with leadership roles in several successful organisations, Kulvinder brings a wealth of experience in technical innovation, strategic planning, and product strategy. With over 20 years of experience, he has expertise in leading cross-functional teams, building strong relationships, and developing strategic plans. His diverse background spans industries such as transport, healthtech, edtech, fintech, and retail. Kulvinder has built a strong track record of driving technical innovation and business growth internationally. With his robust knowledge of SaaS delivery, mobile app development, strategic planning, cybersecurity and cloud computing, he is well-equipped to guide GroupNexus in leveraging technology to solve complex problems. With a deep commitment to community engagement and youth development, Kulvinder is a youth football coach helping children to learn to enjoy the game, whilst learning some key life skills. And he hosts Tech Exec Talks, a podcast where he shares his and his guests' experiences and learnings with fellow professionals and aspiring tech executives. Kulvinder joins GroupNexus at an exciting time - with responsibility for leading the Digital Technology Team, and the further development and roll-out of our market leading NexusPlatform.

Lena Quinn - CHRO

Lord Ian Austin

Job Titles:

  • Non - Executive Director
Ian is currently an active member of the House of Lords, a Non-Executive Director for Homes England and holds other journalism and consultancy roles. Ian began his career in journalism and was appointed as an advisor to Gordon Brown from 1999-2005, he went on to be elected as an MP for Dudley North in 2005. He served as Minister for Housing and Planning at the Department for Communities and Local Government and as Minister for the West Midlands. He served in various frontbench roles under Ed Miliband . In 2019, Ian resigned from the Labour Party and became an independent MP. He was appointed to the House of Lords in 2020. Ian brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be invaluable as we drive the business forward.

Ma Li - CFO

Since graduating with a MA degree in Communications in 2005, Ma Li pursued a career as a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA, ACMA). Ma Li joined GroupNexus in 2008 as Head of Finance and HR, overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function, as well as supporting the CEO and CFO on financial strategic planning. Outside the working hours, Ma Li is a keen scuba diver and qualified gym instructor, and a huge fan of GBBO (for those who don't know, The Great British Bake off).

Natalie Rickward

Natalie joined the company in 2016 as a Project Manager and quickly progressed to the Head of Implementation creating the Implementation Team for GroupNexus.

Rob Briggs

Rob has extensive experience in Business Development leadership with a career starting at Plant & Tool Hire that led, 30 years later via a number of industries, to Car Park Management solutions in 2019, working at Parking Eye and Park & Control. Rob joined GroupNexus in 2022, with responsibility for leading the Business Development Team. Rob is focused on identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring initiatives align with the needs of our prospect client base, to develop long-lasting, value based relationships. He is passionate about helping businesses achieve revenue growth by maximising their parking facility through actionable insights.

Seth Green

Seth joined GroupNexus in 2019 as Head of Products in order to oversee the transformation and development of the Nexus suite of products with the aim of ensuring that we continue to be market leaders, innovative and future focused. As the parking industry continues to rapidly pivot from being a resource-driven industry to a technology-driven one, Seth's experience in taking technology products from idea to market will be an asset in this ever evolving and exciting industry. Seth remains founder and CEO of Dynamic Messaging. Over the last 10 years he has worked closely with a range of blue-chip companies including Admiral Insurance, Ladbrokes and the PaySafe Group.

Terry Galvin

Terry joined the company in 2017 & is now the Client Services Manager for GroupNexus. A long career dedicated to excellence in customer service has seen Terry operate in many environments. Starting out in Telephony & then IT Field Operations to delivering POS services across the UK, Ireland & Poland. Terry is responsible for the upkeep of all the onsite ANPR equipment, from cameras to payment terminals, managing supplier contracts & client SLAs. He has also taken the role of setting up the Hard FM services as GroupNexus widen their portfolio into this area. Terry is driven by improving every interaction our Clients have with GroupNexus.

Yvette Yates

Job Titles:
  • Head of Enforcement
Yvette has a background in the legal profession, specifically working in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Prior to starting her current role, she worked for 21 years at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators starting as an Administrator, Office Manager and latterly Service Delivery Manager, responsible for managing in excess of 8,000 arbitration and adjudication cases per annum in compliance with statutory legislation and managing a team of 19. Yvette has been with the company since 2013, initially managing a team of 5. Yvette's department has now expanded considerably including overseeing all manual image verifications, PCN issuance, appeals and compliance with the British Parking Association Code of Practice. Yvette is a firm believer in helping her team to work as efficiently as possible, working on various projects including reviewing all processes relating to the Enforcement Team with a view to streamlining and digitalising as many processes as possible.
