Corey Craigie

Job Titles:
  • SALES PARTNER
When it comes to "growing up beachside", Corey Craigie considers himself fortunate to have spent his childhood in Indian Harbour Beach. That's why when the opportunity came for Corey and his wife Rebecca to give their daughter Layla the same opportunity, they jumped. Fast forward to 2011, Corey left a career in finance to embark on a new path in real estate. Why real estate? Corey attributes it to the years spent watching the PBS show "This Old House." That's where he found a love for what went into the construction of a home, and with his background in finance, he was able to turn that love into a career. In May of 2021, Corey joined the Carpenter Kessel Home Selling Team. Corey understands that for most people, their home is typically the biggest purchase and assets that they will own. So why not look at it from the investment standpoint as well as the construction standpoint. Owning a home is like running a business, you nurture it, grow it, and at some point, may even sell it for a return on your investment. Corey is passionate about helping families have the best real estate experience possible. He works with both sellers and buyers, and is ready to put his expertise to work for you.

Neal Spurlock

Job Titles:
  • SALES PARTNER
Neal Spurlock began his career in construction and development early on, working with his father in the family business in the late 1970s as a licensed General Contractor. Prior to that, he spent his time living the Florida dream, surfing, fishing, and diving. Neal grew up locally, attending Indialantic Elementary, DeLaura Jr. High, and Satellite High School. After graduating from BCC in 1971, Neal packed his bags to embark on an adventure taking him across the country to The University of Hawaii to further his education, and continue his fascination with the ocean. Surfing was definitely his first love, and Neal's next move was to Huntington Beach, California where he rode for Oceanside / Gordon & Smith Surfboards for a few years. But the desire for his College Degree proved stronger than the California Lifestyle, and with that Neal returned to Florida State University in the Fall of 1971. During the next 3 years he received his B.S. Degree in Education, a General Contractors License and what he calls his B.A. (Born Again) Degree… After graduation, Neal jumped feet first into the family business, eventually starting his own firm, Neal Spurlock Construction, working with his father. After several successful years, the Space Coast went through a radical transition. With the tragedy of the Challenger explosion, and the splitting of the spaceports between Florida, Alabama, and Texas, the New home market was in flux. Then in 1995 a high school friend involved in RE/MAX approached Neal and talked him into getting his Real Estate license. In 1997 he got his brokers' license and opened Real Estate Brevard, and the rest, as they say, is history. After 8 years of industry success, Real Estate Brevard was formally acquired by RE/MAX. As family men, Neal and his son Zack saw an opportunity to team up, and the two began a business partnership that continues to this day. Both father and son now work as a duo for The Carpenter Kessel Home Selling Team. Working with Zack bridges the generational gap of old school with new school, helping to keep them both sharp and grounded. In their 3 generations in Real Estate, the Spurlock's believe that it is truly a family business. Neal works with Sellers and Buyers and is ready to put his experience in both Residential Commercial Real Estate to work for you.

Zack Spurlock

Job Titles:
  • SALES PARTNER
Zack Spurlock is about as close as you can get to a Brevard County native. From the age of 1, Zack has been enjoying the beauty of the Space Coast. Fishing, surfing, and diving have taught him to truly appreciate the gifts that this area has to offer. He made quite a name for himself early on while scuba diving near Port Canaveral and found himself face to face with a Great White shark. Rather than panicking, he grabbed his Go-Pro and shot a video that went viral. He attributes that life-changing experience to help him slow down in the moment, and not let emotions take control of his decisions. As a 3rd generation realtor, Zack comes from a successful lineage of trustworthy local developers and realtors. His Grandfather was instrumental in establishing one of Satellite Beach's premier waterfront communities in the1960's, and his father continued the legacy establishing himself as a leader in local real estate development and sales. After graduating from The University of North Florida with a degree in Marketing, Zack tested his interest in construction with his father in the family business but ultimately fell in love with the sales side of the industry. His knowledge of construction, however, proved to be a valuable asset in Real Estate. Being able to control all of the moving parts of the real estate transaction came naturally to Zack, but that is only half the challenge. Finding the right property that has the perfect blend of quality, value, and upgradeability has allowed Zack to quickly become an award-winning agent. Combine that with his knowledge and love of the water plants him firmly as one of the area's foremost agents when it comes to riverfront homes, deep water canals, and helping his clients find the perfect location for them to call home. Faith and family are some of Zack's most important values. He believes the real estate process should constantly evolve and he loves coaching his clients, helping them to set realistic expectations so they can enjoy the process without getting flustered or caught off guard. Zack works with both sellers and buyers and is ready to help put a clean real estate deal together for you.
