DENTISTRY - Key Persons
Alicia is a hygienist here at Callyn Tedin Family Dentistry. She completed the Dental Hygiene program at UAB. Her favorite part about her job is how her coworkers feel like family. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband, Sam, and their children, Dom, Nina and Gino. She's also a big dog lover - she has a French bulldog named Enzo and a maltipoo named Izzy. She also has a precious kitty named Tiddy!
Amanda is our front desk receptionist here at Callyn Tedin Family Dentistry. Her favorite part about her job is how everyone gets along and enjoys working together. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and 2 dogs. Amanda is bilingual and helps interpret for our Spanish speaking patients!
Dr. Tedin strives to provide the highest standard of care for each and every patient that steps into her office. By incorporating five core values of respect, appreciation, happiness, integrity and caring into her practice, you can expect to feel right at home when you visit Callyn Tedin Family Dentistry. Dr. Tedin's favorite part of being a dentist is interacting with patients and making their visits as fun and relaxing as possible. Her goal is to educate the patient on the best dental practices in order to prevent future dental issues, so you can rest assured that you're in good hands. Dr. Tedin completed her undergraduate education at Auburn University, and then completed her dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Tedin's husband, Jimmy, is also a dentist, and together they have two daughters, Rowan and Sloane. When she's not at the office, you can find Dr. Tedin enjoying the great outdoors (as long as it's above 50 degrees) and hanging out with her dogs, Nelson and Otis. She also loves listening to podcasts, reading and traveling to new places.
Jill is a hygienist here at Callyn Tedin Family Dentistry. She completed the Dental Hygiene program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has had a passion for her career since. Jill's favorite part about her job is all the new people she gets to meet and building relationships with patients. Jill's family is a huge part of her life - she's married to her husband, Bobby, and together they have two children, Emery and Avery. Her hobbies include camping with her family, spending time at church, riding horses and working with her farm animals. Fun fact: Jill and her family have 3 horses, 4 donkeys, multiple cows (25+!), 3 dogs, and 2 rabbits. If you have any animal questions, Jill's your girl!

As a dental hygienist and assistant, Monica loves seeing patients with a healthy smile. She completed her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and loves working in the dental field. When she's not with a patient or assisting Dr. Tedin, Monica enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading. She's married with two children.
