David Silva, owners of El Camino Foods, LLC and now Café El Camino, LLC worked in the corporate world for many years, but because they wanted to spend more time together and with their family - after a lot of soul searching, they decided to follow Elizabeth's passion for traditional and authentic Puerto Rican cuisine and originally formed El Camino Foods to share Elizabeth's family recipes via farmers' markets throughout southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Because of their participation in many local farmers' markets and festivals, the Silvas have managed to create quite a loyal following. They are best known for their famous empanadas and authentic Puerto Rican rice dishes which are enjoyed by thousands of happy customers every week. Their catering services, with an expanded menu, has received many accolades and allowed customers to experience a wider variety of their Puerto Rican specialties. Now the Silva's have arrived at a new chapter… opening a restaurant! Café El Camino opened on December 21st, 2019 at 134 Newton Rd, Plaistow, NH. The restaurant offers a full menu of authentic Puerto Rican dishes and is open Thursday thru Saturday, 11am-8pm and Sunday 11am-7pm.
