ABOUT CSL Ceylon Shipping Lines Limited (CSL) was incorporated as private Limited Liability Company in early 1954, as a joint venture between a consortium consisting of Norwegian and Swedish Nationals, and in 1978 became a fully owened company of the Government of Sri Lanka.Over the years CSl has grown in strength and stability acquiring experience and a high level of capability in shipping and commercial operations.The company was privatized in December 1992,with government of Sri LAnka continuing as a minority shareholder. CSL today is at the pivot of a widely diversified and highly successful conglomerate spanning all major sector of commerce and industry. The organization is rapidly progressing in the international arena backed by its Global Agency Representation Network.
