Annie Adams

Annie Adams is an Accountant at Dorene Gomez Interiors. Annie has always had a passion for numbers, so she naturally gravitated towards Accounting. In 2015 Annie graduated with honors from Diablo Valley College with an Associates of Science in Accounting. She also had a general focus on Business Management with additional courses such as Business Law and Marketing. Annie has a foundation of general knowledge with all Office 365 programs, including excel, and PDF software such as Fox It or Adobe. Annie's extensive knowledge of Sage Accounting, and QuickBooks software gives her an additional edge to provide all DGI's bookkeeping needs. Annie's loyalty, honesty, and integrity are some of her best qualities. Annie's biggest achievement is becoming a mother of a wonderful baby boy in 2017. Having a now 3-year-old son means the world to her and enjoys being a mother more and more every day. Kids seem to teach us life experiences that rival no other. After graduation, Annie worked in the construction field, having a versatile job assisting not only with their accounting team doing such tasks as general set up in their systems software, and budgeting, but also with the contract and legal department under their firms in house counsel. This job gave Annie 5 years' experience in this fast-tracked business world, however her love for numbers led her back to accounting. Joining the team at DGI has been her dream come true.

Stephanie Sweeny

Stephanie Sweeny is an Associate Designer at Dorene Gomez Interiors. She obtained her Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts: Arts and Humanities from Cuesta Community College then transferred to San Francisco State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. There she finished at the top of her class completing residential/commercial AutoCAD drawings, SketchUp renderings, presentation boards, furniture designs, etc. She has always had an interest in interior design, from creating floor plans to decorating her room as a young girl. Her passion and education have both driven her to pursue a career in interior design. At DGI she is involved with the buying process, ordering pieces for the clients, office management, AutoCAD drawings, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Stephanie believes that creating a more functional and beautiful space will allow people to live a fuller and more complete life. She also believes that listening to client's needs and wants is crucial for designing a space that will be loved for the years to come. Stephanie's favorite part about the design process is creating spaces in AutoCAD, collaborating with the team, and seeing each project come to life. In the future, Stephanie aspires to be an interior designer where she can help others by creating beautiful spaces.
