A focused and extremely motivated engineer, who has benefited from the wide-ranging experience. This has resulted in a thorough grounding in both the theoretical and practical principles instrumental in drilling operations. Well-developed problem-solving skills, combined with detailed planning and preparation; have generated an excellent insight into the drilling process. Analytical ability and rapid-response solutions when presented with technical challenges, are matched by a facility to apply blue-sky scenarios, when required. Excellent communication and people-management skills: a team player with the ability to mix and integrate into groups of colleagues possessing varied characteristics with ease; but, equally comfortable working alone.
In addition, experience in managing a team has demonstrated an ability to work under pressure; meet demanding deadlines; and encourage decision-making in others. However, there is no hesitation in taking a direct and ‘hands-on' approach.
Experience of operations in Egypt, Nigeria & South Africa has further developed skills to understand and work with personnel from different cultural backgrounds in a sensitive manner.
Worked on Well design projects both offshore, on Semi Submersibles and Jack ups; and Onshore on Land Operations.
