Adam Costanzo

Biography Mr. Costanzo specializes in the marketing and sale of urban properties throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with a focus on certain neighborhoods within the District including West End, Dupont Circle, Shaw, and Brookland. He joined Feldman Ruel after years working in various aspects of the Washington, D.C. commercial real estate industry including finance, management, and market research. Mr. Costanzo began his commercial real estate career in research, giving him an excellent foundation and understanding of the nuances of the Washington, D.C. market and its drivers. Desiring a role that allowed for more client contact, he eventually transitioned into a management and finance role with a leading commercial real estate services firm. At each stage of his commercial real estate career, Mr. Costanzo has always valued the opportunity to interact directly with clients and share his unique insight which can only be gained by wearing many different hats in the industry over the years. This would eventually lead him to join Feldman Ruel's investment sales force where he is able to apply all of his knowledge and the skill set developed throughout his career for the benefit of his clients. His uncompromised integrity, responsiveness, and diverse knowledge of the local commercial real estate market provides his clients with a unique and valuable perspective which, combined with the platform, reputation, and track record of Feldman Ruel, allows Mr. Costanzo to offer his clients unmatched advisory services and an incredibly powerful marketing engine that is responsible for more commercial property sales than any other firm in Washington, D.C. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University, volunteers his time with Washington, D.C.'s Family & Youth Initiative, and is a certified PADI Open Water Diver. In his free time, Mr. Costanzo enjoys playing golf and flag football, searching for the best slice of pizza in all of Washington, D.C. and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens with his wife, Sam.

Alex Petrov

Biography Mr. Petrov focuses on the marketing and sale of multifamily investment real estate in the Washington, D.C. area. He joined Feldman Ruel following an early career in corporate housing and property management prior to 13 years with a local interior design firm where he excelled in varying roles including operations, marketing, business development, and project management. During his time in this field, Mr. Petrov was exposed to many facets of the commercial real estate industry and developed a particular interest in the multifamily sector to the point of investing in numerous multifamily properties himself which gave him a valuable perspective on the industry. His exposure to the various aspects of the transaction process and value creation by way of effective asset management led him to join Feldman Ruel. As a member of the firm. Mr. Petrov is now able to best utilize his broad experience and skillset to assist others in the creation and preservation of wealth through the disposition and acquisition of multifamily properties. He holds a master's degree in finance and has always considered professional success an important goal but never loses sight of his personal aspirations. Mr. Petrov enjoys spending his free time with his wife and his daughter as well as being an active member of the local community which includes volunteer work coaching youth soccer and staying involved with a number of local non-profit efforts, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact on those around him.

Brandon Cardwell

Biography Mr. Cardwell focuses on the marketing and sale of commercial properties in certain neighborhoods in Washington, D.C. as well as Montgomery and Prince George's counties in the state of Maryland. He joined Feldman Ruel after years of providing leasing and management services to investors of multifamily, office, and retail properties throughout the Washington, D.C. market. After beginning his real estate career in 2010 with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Cardwell joined a national real estate development firm with a significant management presence in the mid-Atlantic region where he was regularly recognized as a top-producing leasing agent within the firm. In addition to his years of brokerage experience, Mr. Cardwell also honed his commercial real estate skills working for one of the world's largest real estate services firms, providing exemplary management services and regularly interfacing with tenants, brokers, contractors, government entities, and building staff. All his experience in various facets of the industry, especially his interactions with all different types of brokers, lead Mr. Cardwell to develop an interest in commercial real estate investment sales and joining Feldman Ruel Urban Property Advisors. The beneficiary of excellent mentorship throughout his career, Mr. Cardwell understands the value of relationship-building, integrity, and professionalism - always looking forward to demonstrating these skills as he helps commercial real estate investors and users accomplish their goals. Born and raised in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Cardwell continues to observe the region's growth firsthand and is both excited and honored to contribute to that growth as a facilitator in commercial real estate sales throughout the region. Mr. Cardwell graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor's degree in Marketing after serving as president of the university's chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants. In his free time, Mr. Cardwell enjoys participating in performing and visual arts events around the Washington, D.C. area, dining at every local Peruvian restaurant possible, and rooting for his Baltimore Ravens.

Brandon Plante

Biography Mr. Plante joined Feldman Ruel to focus on the marketing and sale of multifamily properties from Washington, D.C to central Virginia. A fourth-generation commercial real estate professional, Mr. Plante also brings with him years of experience in the capital markets sector including time at JLL and Burke & Herbert Bank where he helped arrange debt and equity solutions for investors of numerous property types including multifamily. His exposure to this segment of the industry allows him to provide clients with a unique perspective throughout the commercial real estate investment lifecycle and act as a valued advisor in assisting with strategic decision-making. Despite his local roots, Mr. Plante attended Lehigh University where he played division I lacrosse before transferring to Connecticut College to complete his bachelor's degree in finance and economics. Away from the office, he enjoys coaching youth football, rooting for the Washington Commanders, and fishing in Frederick County.

Christopher Chadwick - Managing Director

Biography Mr. Chadwick is a Managing Director with Feldman Ruel based in its main office. Mr. Chadwick leads the company's efforts in the multifamily sector in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, working extensively with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional firms. He provides brokerage services focusing on business development, transactional work, execution strategies, and tax credit consulting. Since beginning his brokerage career in 2006, he has represented clients in transacting more than $1 billion of multifamily assets. Mr. Chadwick is also the company's tax credit specialist, with expertise in both the LIHTC and HRTC industries. His extensive transaction record and robust skill set allows him to complete challenging assignments as well as transactions at record prices. Prior to joining the brokerage industry, Mr. Chadwick spent a number of years in the property management field with the Bozzuto Group, where he received multiple performance awards and managed over 1,200 multifamily units. He studied business at Towson University in Maryland and is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) as well as being on the board of directors for the Children's Cancer Foundation.

Biography Ms. McCann focuses on the marketing, sale, and leasing of commercial properties in the Washington, D.C. area, specializing in the close-in Maryland suburbs of Prince George's County and Montgomery County, Maryland. In addition to representing property owners in sales and leasing, Ms. McCann works with owner-operators, investors, and developers in acquisition. Ms. McCann is proud to have put many local small businesses in brick-and-mortar, helping her clients navigate the process from first leases to legacy purchases that establish an enduring presence in the region's neighborhoods and communities. Born and raised in D.C., Ms. McCann joined Feldman Ruel after building a new commercial division for a Maryland-based residential brokerage, where she fostered relationships with longtime property owners on the Route 1 corridor and in the Takoma Park/Silver Spring area. Her appreciation for innovative commercial development, adaptive reuse, and engaging street-front retail was honed as the founding editor of Architecture DC, the D.C. chapter of the American Institute of Architects' publication showcasing local projects. As the founding managing editor of Architect, Ms. McCann covered best practices in the business and design of commercial architecture worldwide. In her own neighborhood of Silver Spring, she founded the Fenton Street Market, a long-running weekly small-business incubator and one of the first Benefit Corporations, or "B Corps," in the country, for which she received the Montgomery Women's Rising Star Award. Ms. McCann graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in American Studies. Her skills in writing, research, marketing, and project management have been hallmarks throughout her career. Ms. McCann and her husband have three teenagers who keep them both entertained and humble. Biography Mr. Feldman is the Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Feldman Ruel. In addition to representing owners and investors in the marketing and sale of commercial real estate, he is also responsible for the creation and implementation of the firm's strategic vision and unique, intelligent deployment structure. Mr. Feldman manages the firm's proprietary, centralized database system and oversees all branding/marketing efforts. Prior to establishing Feldman Ruel, Mr. Feldman spent 15 years at one of the nation's largest commercial real estate brokerage firms. During his time in the industry, Mr. Feldman has consistently been a top-producing agent, earning numerous sales recognition awards and completing hundreds of successful transactions in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. His expertise spans multiple property types including retail, office/industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and land for development. While each assignment is unique, his vast track record in the valuation, marketing, and sale of properties with historic designations, adaptive re-use opportunities, and covered-land plays has helped him develop the diverse knowledge and skill set required to execute at such a high level year after year. As a testament to his brokerage and advisory expertise, Mr. Feldman has been retained on multiple occasions to provide expert witness testimony in matters related to the commercial real estate market in general as well as the marketing and sale of commercial properties in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Mr. Feldman graduated from American University in 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a specialization in International Marketing. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, and the metropolitan Washington, D.C. chapter of Mensa.

Biography Mr. Ferguson was proudly appointed Feldman Ruel's Chief Morale Officer in February of 2020, a role he approaches with utmost seriousness. Before joining the firm, He served as a dedicated stay-at-home dog, tending to the needs of his beloved humans. His responsibilities include strategic napping initiatives, the distribution of slobbery kisses, and his signature program, daily post-lunch trashcan inspections. Mr. Ferguson also advocates for the development of strong verbal communication skills as he often loudly reminds his coworkers. In fact, his personal mantra is, "Woof woof! Bark! Woof!" Despite lacking a tail, his spirit wags with boundless enthusiasm. He is committed to fostering a workplace where happiness reigns supreme, because he knows that a happy team is a productive team. Mr. Ferguson is the first (and only) to offer a friendly hump to new employees or visitors. Peter Barnard

Biography Mr. Barnard specializes in the sale of commercial properties in Northern Virginia, specifically Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. After beginning his real estate career in marketing as well as spending time in data analytics and corporate client relations, Mr. Barnard found he always gravitated towards the brokerage side of the business leading him to join Feldman Ruel's Investment Sales division to work with its Northern Virginia group. Mr. Barnard's understanding of the commercial real estate market paired with his natural aptitude for data analytics have been the main drivers of his early success. He prides himself on the most ethical representation of his clients and takes his role as a trusted advisor extremely seriously. Roman Degliantoni

Mr. Degliantoni focuses on the sale of urban commercial real estate in the Washington, D.C. MSA. While much of his business takes place in the Northeast and Southeast quadrants, especially Capitol Hill and the H Street corridor, Mr. Degliantoni does business across the District and its surrounding counties. Before joining Feldman Ruel's investment sales team, he began his commercial real estate career in the property management field however Mr. Degliantoni spent his early years working for a large construction company to help put himself through college and in doing so found he had a passion for commercial real estate and the infrastructure that ties it all together, making him an ideal fit for Feldman Ruel which sells more development sites in the Washington, D.C. area than any other commercial brokerage company. By joining the firm, Mr. Degliantoni has been able to marry his passion for real estate development with his appreciation of the historic charm found in many of the area's unique retail corridors like Barracks Row. Originally from San Francisco, he obtained his B.S. in Economics from the University of Oregon before relocating to the Washington, D.C area where he now spends his personal time on the local golf courses and hiking trails.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Scales worked for one of the largest commercial real estate companies in the country brokering transactions and developing his knowledge of the market. Mr. Scales has navigated the intricate zoning regulations of Northern Virginia and continues to broaden his knowledge of their complex development standards. His research and understanding of the potential impact Amazon's HQ2 and other major projects will have on the local real estate markets, makes him a go-to resource for commercial property owners. Mr. Scales has experience working with owners in historic districts, specifically Old Towne Alexandria and surrounding areas. He has also worked with owners in designated, qualified opportunity zones. Mr. Scales' boots-on-the-ground approach to brokerage gives his clients peace of mind of knowing they are working with someone entrenched in these submarkets day in and day out. Mr. Scales is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he studied History and Business and was captain of the NCAA Division I lacrosse team.
