Who We Are: Inspired by eBay's legal internship program, LiTD was launched in 2019 by eBay attorneys Patricia Svilik and David Pilson. By collaborating across companies, they were able to scale this enriching experience to more law students. Today, LiTD is staffed by a volunteer group of attorneys and legal professionals across a range of companies and firms... Our Mission: LiTD's mission is to support the next generation of legal leaders in tech who are committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) legal profession. We do this through a unique 10-week summer associate program where 1Ls with a strong track record of DEI leadership are invited to split their summer between a tech company and a partner law firm. We seek associates that will not just excel in the legal tech world, but will also contribute meaningfully to our profession...
