Mecosol has its origins in the fossil fuelled fired boiler industry. The damage caused by these fuels has necessitated that a clean alternative for industry is offered. European norms are such that a lot of industrial heat is generated by waste wood which is now a viable energy alternative in South Africa due to our vast biomass stocks.
