It all started with a pencil, paper, and a calculator. Wayne Carr, Co-Founder and current Chairman of the Board of Milsoft, was working at Milford Engineering in the 1980s when he had an idea (which was not uncommon for Wayne). This idea would change his life and impact countless electric utilities all over the world. Wayne began writing and using software for distribution analysis and then sold that software to electric utilities to help them operate more efficiently and safely. Leon Giesecke joined Wayne before he even finished college to assist with software development, sales, and support. Together, they formed Milsoft Integrated Solutions, Inc, in 1989, with Luis Malave joining the Milsoft development team in 1993.
