There's no catch here. Privacy Label is developed with public funding by a consortium of organisations that care about privacy... The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) asks that organisations better communicate how personal data is used. Privacy Label is designed to help you deal with these requirements... We're trying to create "something in between reading nothing or reading a huge privacy policy". We believe good design can play a role here.
