David is a Costa Rican Political Scientist with his MBA and masters in diplomacy. He is also a leader, advocate, social media specialist, and communication strategist. David has experience in public policy implementation, development, evaluation, and consultancy services for NGOs like UNESCO and others linked to the European Union. David´s professional background is mainly in work with minorities, ensuring they have access to their rights.
His primary focus is to expand Ruh Global IMPACT's vision across the globe and impact the lives of People with Disabilities both in developed and developing countries. He has spoken in Latin America and the US on disability inclusion and accessibility. He has been asked to be a Visiting Professor on these topics and the Future of Work for The University Del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. David recently was a keynote speaker at the Future of Work and the Employment of Persons with Disabilities in one of the first conferences on this topic in Colombia. David is fluent in Spanish and English and often advocates for Americans (Latin, South, and North America) that speak Spanish. 15 to 20% of the US population are Spanish Speakers, and this group is often disenfranchised in the US.
Debra Ruh is the CEO of Ruh Global IMPACT. The UN President's office invited Debra to address the United Nations General Assembly at the Conference of State Parties 9th session on May 13, 2016. Selected as the North American representative for UN ILO Global Business and Disability Network (GBDN). US State Department global speaker and ambassador since 2018. Sara Ruh is Chief Inspiration Officer at Ruh Global IMPACT. An artist, writer, keynote speaker, and inspire innovations. Serving as an international keynote speaker on the topic of disabilities, Sara travels the world with a mission to improve accessibility and employment options in competitive job fields in the community for others with disabilities.
Sara has accomplished more in her lifetime than the ‘experts' ever imagined was possible. She has spoken at keynote addresses and has been invited to speak at numerous events. She has acted on stage and in commercials, modeled, written a children's book with her Mom (Debra Ruh), displayed her artwork in many art exhibits, including art shows at Capital One, SunTrust Bank, and the VABLN. Her work is established in collections all over the country.
Sara Ruh has effectively advocated for people with Down syndrome and other disabilities since 1994. Today she is an internationally renowned keynote and inspirational speaker for making a difference in both business and community.
