Dr. Benjamin Franklin Shelton III grew up locally, in Speed, NC. He went to North Carolina State University for his undergraduate education, completed his master's degree at Clemson University and went on to obtain his veterinary degree at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama.
Dr. Jay Colter Newman grew up in the panhandle of Florida and attended the University of Florida, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Lauren Shelton Newman was born and raised right here, in Williamston, North Carolina. She went to the University of North Carolina Wilmington for her undergraduate education and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University college of veterinary medicine on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts.
