Attorney Bryan Baer has twenty (20) years of legal experience representing clients in serious and catastrophic injury and medical malpractice cases. After a few years working as a consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), he went back to the University of Georgia and obtained his law degree. His background in economics and consulting have served him well in his law career as he adeptly builds consensus around the facts and value of the case with all opposing parties. Before focusing his practice areas on representing innocent injury victims in 2011, Bryan defended insurance companies and represented businesses. Bryan has been recognized as a leading advocate for the injured by numerous publications and industry groups. He has been selected as an Atlanta Super Lawyers every year from 2015-2020, an honor reserved for the top 5% of attorneys, and twice named to Georgia Trend's Legal Elite. Melinda Schwartz

Melinda joined Bryan in 2017 bringing 18 years of legal experience. She began her legal career as a Senior Litigation Paralegal for State Farm Insurance Companies where she handled complex bodily injury claims for 17 years prior to retiring from the company and venturing into another area of law. Melinda then handled commercial litigation matters related to arson & fraud, bad faith, insurance coverage, and property insurance as a Senior Paralegal at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers. Melinda graduated from Georgia Southern University with a business degree and later earned her Paralegal Certification from the National Center for Paralegal Training. She is the mother of two sons, her Boxer puppy Zoe, and most recently, proud grandmother to granddaughter Olivia Claire. Outside of work, Melinda enjoys reading, college football, baking, and needlework. She is an active member of the Linus Project and donates all her handcrafted needlework designs for distribution to local children in hospitals, shelters, and other social service agencies.

Tabitha Floyd

Tabitha joined The Baer Law Firm in 2021 bringing experience and knowledge of the healthcare space. Since graduating Cum Laude from Oglethorpe University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry, Tabitha has worked in the medical field with plans to obtain a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. In her free time, Tabitha enjoys gardening with her fiancé, playing with her cats, spending time with friends, and reading on her deck.
