THJTA

We employ over twenty young people during the summer months in Terre Haute. After the summer months the THJTA provides practice balls, hoppers, roll dry equipment an other necessary materials to area middle and high schools to promote the game of tennis. The directors of the THJTA are tested and certified United States Tennis Association Professionals. Each has completed more than 100 hours of continuing educational instruction and attends at least one professional clinic per year... Our Mission: The Terre Haute Junior Tennis Association is here for the children of our community to provide opportunities to help them succeed at learning tennis on their own at an affordable price. Since 1986 the THJTA has provided tennis instruction at Honey Creek, Terre Haute North, and other sites. A tournament players program at North High School has been offered, and several USTA sanctioned tournaments and competition trips for our tournament level players.
