Dr. Brittany Montross

Dr. Brittany Montross is a Western New York local growing up in East Aurora, NY. She went on to complete her medical degree at the University at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Science. Dr, Montross then completed her Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency learning skills in both open and minimally invasive (endovascular) vascular surgery of peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, carotid disease, hemodialysis access, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA), and thoracic aortic aneurysm. She completed the Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation exam in 2018 certifying her to read vascular laboratory studies. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Montross is involved in teaching medical students, residents, as well as vascular fellows, so future vascular patients also receive the highest level of care. Dr. Montross is expanding UBMD Vascular coverage to the Northtowns and Niagara Falls. Surgeries are performed at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital and at Gates Vascular Institute within Buffalo General Medical Center. She also sees patients and performs surgeries related to dialysis access in the Vascular Access Center at Erie County Medical Center. Hasan H. Dosluoglu

Hasan H. Dosluoglu MD joined UBMD Surgery in 2002. He is a Professor of Surgery with tenure, Chief for the Division of Vascular Surgery and Chief of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at the VA Western New York Healthcare System. Dr. Dosluoglu is certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery, is a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of multiple national and international vascular surgery societies. He sits on Editorial Board of Journal of Vascular Surgery, European Journal of Vascular Surgery and Journal of Endovascular Therapy.

Isabel Komornicki

Isabel Komornicki, NP has been an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner since ‘98. Her primary focus of practice is within the Vascular Surgery field. Isabel is based in the out-patient setting treating various vascular pathologies; arterial, venous and aneurysm disease. She also practices treating chronic wounds at the ECMC Wound Center since May 2016. She graduated Magna Sum Laude with a Masters' in Nursing from the University at Buffalo. Isabel is credentialed and certified to practice at Kaleida Health and ECMC systems and is a member of WNY-NP Association. She speaks Polish fluently. James Lukan

James Lukan, MD joined UBMD Surgery in 2004. Dr. Lukan is the Director of Vascular Services at Erie County Medical Center, Attending Staff Surgeon at ECMC, Clinical Associate Professor for UBMD Surgery, and Program Director for General Surgery Residency Program at University at Buffalo. Dr. Lukan holds Boards and certifications from the American Board of Surgery for General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Vascular Surgery. His certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Burn Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor. Dr. Lukan has been published 22 times in peer-reviewed journals and was involved with 25 abstracts and presentations. He has contributed to five book chapters and has been invited to lecture 16 times on topics relating to his expertise. Dr. Lukan has been involved with laboratory research, clinical studies, and is involved with teaching activities throughout his career with several currently ongoing.

Linda M. Harris

Linda M. Harris MD joined UBMD Surgery in 1995 and currently sits as a Professor of Surgery with tenure in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Harris is Board certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery. She has received 21 awards and honors throughout her career and has worked with 53 various grants relating to her vascular expertise. Dr. Harris has been published 68 times in referred journals, contributed to 10 articles/editorials, contributed to 17 book chapters, and has been featured in the media spotlight 4 times. She is currently co-editing a book in vascular surgery. She has been invited to present 77 times about various relating topics and has given 136 presentations relating to her expertise. Dr. Harris is the Program Director for the Vascular Fellowship and Vascular Residency Programs. She is also a Fellow of the Society of Vascular Surgeons and a member of the Society of University Surgeons. Dr. Harris belongs to numerous societies and is involved with their activities including the American College of Surgeons, Association of Women Surgeons, Association for Academic Surgery, and Western New York Vascular / Endovascular Society. She is past president of the Eastern Vascular Society, the largest regional vascular society in the US, and the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery. She also sits on the editorial board for the Journal of Vascular Surgery, the Vascular Specialist, and ACS News. Within the University at Buffalo, Dr. Harris is involved with many programs including Graduate Medical Education, Executive Council for Department of Surgery, and Academic Leadership Group representing the Department of Surgery for Kaleida Health. Dr. Harris specializes in minimally invasive endovascular, hybrid, as well as complex open vascular surgery in aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease (claudication, limb salvage), and carotid artery disease. Molly Moore

Molly Moore, MD, FACS graduated from SUNY Buffalo's General Surgery Residency Program in 2011. Following that, she completed two fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital: Burn Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She moved back to Buffalo in 2013 and began work at Buffalo General Medical Center as an acute care surgeon and surgical intensivist. Dr. Moore was named Director of Surgical ICU in 2017 and is an active member of the Kaleida Health Medical Staff. Dr. Moore is the first female robotic general surgeon in Western New York. She is very interested in robotic surgery, namely cholecystectomy and hernia repair.
