AGRI ADVISOR LEGAL - Key Persons
Ann has recently joined our Agri Advisor team in the role of Legal Secretary based in our Newcastle Emlyn office. Before joining us, Ann has 39 years' experience as a Legal Secretary with well-established law firms.
Ann lives in Pembrokeshire with her husband who runs a beef and sheep farm.
In her spare time Ann enjoys running having represented Wales at a junior and senior level on several occasions. Having also ran the London Marathon numerous times to raise funds for Withybush General Hospital. Although over the last couple of years she has not taken part in competitive races but still enjoys running on a daily basis. She also enjoys walking her dog and cold-water swimming. Ann is also a fluent Welsh speaker
Ann is the Legal Secretary in our Bala office.
Ann has over 20 years' experience in customer facing and secretarial support roles in a variety of sectors. She is from a farming background and continues to be heavily involved in the home farm in Barmouth.
In her time away from the office Ann enjoys spending time with family and assisting on the farm.

Arwyn is our current Managing Partner and joins Agri Advisor's Groesfaen office having moved to Cardiff from his native West Wales.
Having grown up on a farm in the Gwaun Valley in Pembrokeshire he spent twenty years as a solicitor at a rural high street firm, in private practice, as a solicitor. He has a wealth of experience and expertise in dealing with a range of matters including all aspects of private client and property work as well as family matters and disputes.
Arwyn heads up the firm's Residential Conveyancing team.
Arwyn lives with his partner in Cardiff. He spends his spare time thinking about all those DIY jobs that he never gets around to starting. Arwyn is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Awel has been a solicitor with Agri Advisor since 2016 and became Partner in 2019. She has experience in dealing with succession planning including Wills, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. She also advises on the preparation and registration of lasting powers of attorney, the registration of existing enduring powers of attorney and the duties of attorneys including the removal of attorneys. The formation of lifetime trusts, their taxation and registration is also an area that Awel is pleased to assist her clients with.
Awel has extensive experience in administering taxable estates and the preparation of Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR) applications together with Inheritance Tax applications in complex and high-net worth estates. In addition, she has specialist knowledge in mental health and Court of Protection matters. Awel is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Bethan qualified as a Solicitor in 2002, specialising in Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning from the outset. She has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2008.
After spending some time as a newly qualified Solicitor working for a large firm in Bristol, Bethan returned to South Wales to work where she was appointed Head of the Private Client department and made a salaried Partner. In 2010, Bethan moved to Mid Wales and established her own practice offering her services as a consultant and hosting CPD seminars for other professionals with an emphasis on tax and succession planning for farming businesses.
Bethan later moved to the Channel Islands and played a key role working for the island's Tourism and Public Health Committee for several years before returning to work for Agri Advisor as a Consultant Solicitor. Bethan has had an affiliation with Agri Advisor since 2011.
Cathryn is based in our Newcastle Emlyn office and joined Agri Advisor in January 2024. Cathryn was raised on a dairy farm in Carmarthenshire which has been at the heart of her interest in rural affairs from a young age.
Cathryn trained at a commercial firm in Swansea and attained her qualification as Solicitor in January 2024. A dual graduate, Cathryn completed a Business Management Degree at Cardiff University and then undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice qualifications at Swansea University.
Outside of work Cathryn enjoys keeping fit and socialising with friends and family. Cathryn is also a fluent Welsh speaker.
Cathy joined the Agri Advisor team in April 2019 in the role of Office Assistant based in our Cardiff Office. Cathy's responsibilities include all administration work and customer care and is a fluent welsh speaker.
Cathy lives in Cardiff with her husband and three children, prior to this she lived in Lampeter, Ceredigion and worked for Ceredigion County Council for over 20 years.
Delyth joined the Agri Advisor team in March 2021. As a Marketing Assistant she is responsible for both the Digital and Physical marketing here at Agri Advisor.
Delyth also supports the administrative team at busy times in the office and has completed her NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration.
Delyth lives near Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, where her family run a sheep and beef farm. She studied for a degree in Contemporary Textile Practice from Cardiff Met and uses her creative skills in her own design and illustration business. In her spare time Delyth enjoys travelling, walking, paddleboarding and exploring the countryside whether it's on foot or on the water.

Melissa joined Agri Advisor in July 2019 as a trainee solicitor. Melissa studied Law at Cardiff University before completing her Masters in Advanced Drafting and the Legal Practice Course at Swansea University, in June 2019. Melissa is obtaining experience in various areas of law to include Property, Dispute Resolution and Private Client. Melissa qualified as Solicitor in July 2021.
Originally from Cwmann, Melissa is based in both Pumsaint and Groesfaen and continues to develop her agricultural knowledge. Melissa spends her spare time helping her father on his smallholding in Pencader as well as being an active member of the local YFC. She is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Wendy joined Agri Advisor in September 2021 and she is an administration assistant based at our Pumsaint office. She graduated with a degree in Criminology in 2013 and since worked in the health and social care sector.
Wendy lives on a sheep and beef farm with her husband and daughter and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Zoe is a Trainee Solicitor working out of our Pumsaint office.
Zoe joined the team in as Resources Assistant after graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in Law & Criminology. Zoe is currently studying for her Legal Practice Course and Masters in Advanced Drafting at Swansea University. Zoe commenced her Training Contract with us in 2022.
While Zoe is away from the office she enjoys running, reading and playing football for Lampeter Ladies FC. She is also a member of the local YFC.
