ABRAHAM

From a very young age I was drawing, painting and crafting any chance I got, and with any materials at hand. I joke that I was born with the "Make and Do" gene. With inspiration ranging from Disney and Dr. Seuss to Louise Fili, Hayao Miyazaki and a myriad of other artists, I've been happiest exploring and creating art, especially in illustration and design. My first major in college was Interior Design. Although I loved it, I gave it up, doubting that art could support a living wage. Instead I graduated in physical therapy and worked a fulfilling career helping people in that field for many years. But over time, the artistic part of me persisted. My perspective changed. I now believe that with the right skills, art and design can pay the bills too. My parents and grandparents before them were teachers, and creative artists. I like to think I'm basically returning to my true nature and vocation.
