Cosmin started his career in tech journalism back in 2005 at Softpedia where he acted as editor-in-chief overseeing both the mobile and gaming departments. His areas of expertise include brands like Samsung and Nokia, but he's also very passionate about innovative technologies and how they're improving our quality of life.
After spending 10 years at Softpedia, he decided to switch sides and see the tech world through the lens of a PR person. After spending one year doing PR for tech and games companies, he learned that a marketing campaign isn't always meant to tell consumers the truth about a product, it just wants to sell it.
Back in 2016, Cosmin decided to return to his first love - tech journalism, so he joined Phone Arena where he arduously grinds the internet and his brain for newsworthy stories. Although he always makes sure to add a personal touch to his stories, he likes to pass on the information in the most objective and clear way possible. For a few years after he joined PhoneArena, he was a constant presence as a guest on TV and radio shows where he shared his thoughts about the most recent news in the tech world.
CeBIT, the trade fair held each year on the Hannover (Germany) fairground was the first internationally representative tech expo he attended, yet his favorite trade fair that involves mobile tech remains MWC (Mobile World Congress) due to its location (Barcelona).
When he's not searching for interesting topics to write about, Cosmin is playing one of his favorite RPG or watching Netflix. Also, he never once admitted that he's spending too much time dusting off his 700+ D&D miniature collection. He's also passionate about history, which is one of the reasons he really enjoys travelling and learning about other cultures (especially food!).

Nick joined the PhoneArena editorial team back in 2011 as a junior news writer, armed with his expansive knowledge about modern tech and insatiable desire to know how stuff works. He soon got the first few product reviews under his belt, and it wasn't long until he regularly attended major trade shows like MWC and IFA, along with veteran PhoneArena editors.
Over the years, Nick has become an expert on hardware and has a thorough understanding of the camera, battery, and audio tech that goes into a smartphone. He's tested hundreds of tech gadgets throughout his career - smartphones, tablets, earphones, and everything in between. While he's mostly an Android guy, he's not hesitant to switch to an iPhone every once in a while and appreciates the advantages of both platforms.
Nick is not a guy afraid to get his hands dirty. In his spare time, of which there's very little nowadays, he loves tinkering in his workshop surrounded by his arsenal of tools. He's a DIY enthusiast passionate about woodworking and electronics projects, but he's also dipped his feet into the fields of CNC machining, laser cutting, and 3D printing.
Tech interests aside, Nick has always enjoyed traveling. He's been to over 30 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with the intention of growing the number further as soon as the opportunity arises. His Friday evenings are usually reserved for playing board games with his fellow nerds. Legends about his cooking skills are popular among the ranks of PhoneArena, with his cookies being an all-time favorite of the team.

Peter's fixation with technology began decades ago when he was introduced to an MS-DOS PC's command prompt and left to his own devices. Ever since, things that beep, light up, and occasionally hang have deeply fascinated him, especially those you can fit in your pocket. He received his first mobile phone in 2004, a monochrome Nokia burner of course, and an obsession was born almost immediately.
Weirdly, Peter doesn't have a favorite phone brand preference and tries to judge each device on its own merits. He is a digital nomad that has the unhealthy habit of changing phones every month and is convinced that a well-trained memory is the best password manager.
At PhoneArena, Peter is a jack-of-all-trades kind of guy, responsible for writing reviews, news articles, and keeping older content fresh and up to date. Tinkering with Android devices is a favorite pastime of his, while trying to bend iOS to his will is still a work in progress and quite possibly a lost cause. Peter also has a thing for photography, but is deeply convinced that mobile phones will never match the charm of an analog camera.
When he is not working, he is usually binging a TV series you've never heard of, ignoring side quests and NPCs in some RPG, researching the latest cryptocurrency fad, or changing his toddler's diapers. Peter would also be quite embarrassed to show you his Spotify playlists, though he is jamming to them all the time.
Aside from technology, Peter has an unhealthy decades-long fascination with high fantasy novels, sci-fi flicks, the oxford comma, and video games. Han absolutely shot first, Arthas did nothing wrong, and the only winning move is not to play. He also thinks that cats are superior to dogs, but doesn't get to write on the topic often.
