Dr Belinda Gowen

Dr Belinda Gowen is a keen fixed wing pilot, doctor, wife and mother to two girls. She completed paediatric intensive care training and still works as an intensive care specialist in Perth. She has extensive experience in fixed and rotary wing aeromedical retrieval and continues to work for the Royal Flying Doctor Service transporting critically ill patients across Western Australia. Dr Gowen pursued training and accreditation as a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner to combine her passion in aviation and medicine and contribute to the aviation community. She holds post-graduate qualifications in Aviation Medicine from the University of Otago and is accredited as a DAME with CASA. Dr Gowen is committed to providing an excellent medical examination service to ensure the health and safety of all pilots and ATCs she sees.

Dr Hui T. Tan

Dr Hui T. Tan qualified in Medicine at the University of Glasgow. He did his Aviation Medicine training with the RAF School of Aviation Medicine at Farnborough in 1996. Completing his UK CAA CPL/IR at Prestwick, he trained at Ballarat with Mission Aviation Fellowship before flying in Papua New Guinea for 2 years, based at Telefomin in the Western Province.
