Esther Shaver Harnett

Armed with an MBA from the University of Louisville and a love of literature and the old South, Esther Shaver opened E. Shaver, Bookseller in 1975 in Savannah, GA. She lived above the shop in an historic house on Savannah's Madison Square-running the very successful business for forty years. In 2015, she made the move to Beaufort to be part of a town ready to be discovered and to work toward the town's success. She has served on a number of boards including the Southeast Booksellers, Savannah Downtown Neighborhood Association, Coastal Heritage Society, Savannah and currently serves on the Board of Pat Conroy Literary Center in Beaufort.

Jill Breaux

Jill Breaux - Human Resources Manage & Accountant, Fripp Island Golf and Beach Resort. A graduate of the Technical College of the Lowcountry, Jill served as an active officer in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was recognized with the General Business Division's award for Outstanding Graduate 2016-2017. Originally from Jamestown, North Dakota, Jill found her way to Beaufort via her husband's career in the Marine Corps. Following his retirement, Jill, her husband and two daughters chose to make Beaufort their home.

Jonathan Sullivan

Jonathan is the Director of Hospitality and an owner of the Beaufort Inn and Quality Inn Town Center. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Business Administration and Hospitality and worked with Marriott International where he found his passion for Life Style hotels when working for the Renaissance Brand. Jonathan returned to Beaufort with his Wife Nikole and three children to enjoy the Coastal Community he remembered from his college years. He serves on the Accommodations Tax Board (ATAX); and as chairman of the Tourism Development Advisory Committee (TDAC). It was his vision and passion that championed the need for an organization dedicated to providing a unified voice to serve as an advocate for the local hospitality industry. Working with Beaufort lodging and restaurant owners, Mr. Sullivan was instrumental in the founding of BAHA.

Nick Borreggine - Treasurer

Nick Borreggine Secretary / Treasurer - Owner/Proprietor, Fat Patties, Salt Marsh Brewing. Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Nick is a graduate of Johnson and Wales Culinary School and Old Dominion University. He worked at the Inn at Little Washington in Washington, VA and Le Bec Fin in Philadelphia, PA before settling in Beaufort with his family in 2000. Nick opened Panini's on Beaufort's waterfront in 2001 operating the successful restaurant until its sale in 2011. In 2012, he opened Fat Patties on the Parris Island Gateway, and in 2015, he opened Salt Marsh Brewing in Bluffton. Nick and his wife, Michele, live in Beaufort with their three children.

Peach Morrison

Peach Morrison - Executive Director - SC Lowcountry Tourism Commission Peach is a born and bred South Carolinian. She has been with the SC Lowcountry Tourism Commission since March of 2007. Peach grew up in Summerville and attended the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina. She has worked in the hospitality industry for many more years than she would like to admit. She was hired as a Civilian Marine which brought her to Beaufort in 19 97 and loves the natural beauty of the four-county region the Commission serves. She loves to fish, kayak and play golf. The SC Lowcountry Tourism Commission is a regional destination marketing organization which was established by the SC General Assembly in 1991. Its mission is to promote economic development in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper Counties through a formal program of tourism promotion. The Commission operates the Frampton Plantation Visitors Center and Gift Shop just off Interstate 95 and welcomes guests from all 50 states and quite a number of other countries each year. Robb Wells

Robb joined the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2012 as Vice President of the Tourism Division. Previous to that role, he served as Senior Director of Marketing for the Knoxville Tourism & Sports Commission. In 2018, the Marketing arm split off from the Beaufort Regional Chamber to form the Greater Beaufort-Port Royal Convention & Visitor Bureau. The Bureau is the official designated Marketing and Management organization of Beaufort, Port Royal and the Sea Islands of South Carolina and focuses their efforts on attracting all visitor segments, and fostering visitor product development. Robb and his wife Candida and two daughters live in Beaufort.

Vimal Desai

Vimal is the Chief Operations and Development Officer for HMV Management in Beaufort which owns the Holiday Inn & Suites on Boundary Street and is in the process of constructing the Spring Hill Suites on an adjacent property. He graduated from USC Columbia with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management and worked with Hyatt for several years before moving back to Beaufort and taking the position with HMV. Vimal currently serves on the Tourism Development Advisory Committee (TDAC) and Accommodations Tax (ATAX) Boards, and is a member of Sea Island Rotary, and Chairman of their fundraising efforts. Vimal formerly served on the Board of Directors of Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce. Passionate about supporting the industry, He was instrumental in the founding of BAHA and has championed the need to have a unified voice for the local Hotel and Restaurant Industry.

William A. Prokop

William A. Prokop (Bill) was named Beaufort City Manager in April 2015, after serving as interim city manager and director of the City's Human Resources Department. Prior to joining Beaufort's senior management team, he served as Assistant City Manager/HR Director for the City of Keene, New Hampshire, from 2008 to 2014, and from 2002 to 2008 he served as Town Administrator for Antrim, New Hampshire. Mr. Prokop worked for several years in the private sector as President of Graphic & Office Products, Inc., and as Vice President and General Manager at Berol Corporation. He earned his bachelor's in business management from Bryant University in Providence, RI followed by graduate studies at the University of Bridgeport and the London School of Business. He is a long-time member and certified participant in the International City/County Management Association and the International Public Management Association. He lives in Beaufort with his wife Pamela. They have three grown sons and seven grandchildren.
