In April 2020 we launched eBuySugar.com as a digital platform where we can connect buyers and sellers, to promote the biggest sugar trade in India. Our sugar traders started trading immediately. More than two years have passed since the platform is online. We have been in the sugar business for 25 years and the company remains the same. The sugar traders negotiate over the phone to buy sugar from the manufacturer. The sugar traders then sell it to a semi-wholesaler, who also does the entire business via phone calls... From April 1st,2022, the model moved to a system where every transaction takes place via eBuySugar. The buyer pays eBuySugar and we pay the manufacturer and in turn take care of the logistics and delivery. What helped the second-generation sugar trader were decades of trading experience and the strong network he enjoyed.
