Alexander D. Goldin

Alexander D. Goldin, MD., a Chicagoland native, joined the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center in 2002. He attended college and medical school at Emory University where he was selected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed the Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary and affiliated hospitals (Children's Memorial Hospital, Cook County Hospital and Michael Reese Hospital). He joined the staff at Lutheran General Hospital in 2002. Dr. Goldin practices all aspects of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

David P. Tojo

David P. Tojo, MD., a Cincinnati native, is the founder of the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center. He attended college at Northwestern University and medical school at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he was selected to membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed internship and residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary and affiliated hospitals (Children's Memorial Hospital, Cook County Hospital, West Side VA Medical Center and Michael Reese Hospital). He pursued additional post-graduate training at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Between 1992 and 2000, Dr. Tojo served as a clinical instructor in head and neck surgery in the University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Otolaryngology. He joined the staff at Lutheran General Hospital in 1992 where he has assumed numerous leadership positions. Dr. Tojo has been selected as one of Chicago area's "Top Doctors" by Castle Connolly Medical Guide and North Shore Magazine. Dr. Tojo practices all aspects of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in the management of hearing loss and tinnitus, surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, nasal and sinus issues, and surgery for skin cancer of the face, head, and neck. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and a member of the American Thyroid Association.

Michael K. Layland

Michael K. Layland, MD., was raised in the Chicago suburbs and joined the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center in 2004. He attended college at Duke University and attended medical school at University of Illinois at Chicago where he was selected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed the Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at Washington University in St. Louis. He joined the staff at Lutheran General Hospital in 2004. Dr. Layland practices all aspects of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in medical and minimally invasive surgical treatment of sinus disease, treatment of tumors of the head and neck, salivary gland and thyroid gland diseases, hearing disorders and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Sanjeev Balamohan

Sanjeev Balamohan, MD., was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana and joined the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center in 2018. He attended college and medical school at Indiana University where he was selected to membership in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed internship and residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida. He joined the staff of Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in 2018. Dr. Balamohan practices all aspects of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and has special expertise in surgical and medical treatment of sinus disease, treatment of head and neck tumors, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, treatment of voice disorders, treatment of allergies, and hearing disorders. Dr. Balamohan is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
