FOOTWISE PODIATRY & REFLEXOLOGY

I set up my own reflexology clinic after becoming qualified in classical reflexology in 2011. With a strong interest in the medical conditions of the feet, this led me to discover podiatry. I went back to collage as a mature student and I trained in the National University of Ireland Galway in Podiatric Medicine specialising in diagnosing and treating abnormal conditions of the lower limb and foot. With the combination of reflexology and podiatry, I can work with my patients post-surgery to eliminate joint stiffness and promote healing. Reflexology also influences circulation during the recovery process following a foot injury or surgery... I am trained in podiatric acupuncture and biomechanics of the foot and ankle. Through these assessments I am able to advise on strengthening and stretching exercises as well as prescribe orthotics which help to realign your foot and body posture. Orthotics can also be helpful for foot pain, arch or heel pain (Plantar Fasciitis), Leg or knee pain..
