Brian Schubmehl - CHRO

  • Chief Human Resources Officer
Guided by more than two decades of diverse experience, Brian expands and safeguards Kindeva's organizational strength as the Chief Human Resources Officer. His senior global leadership experience has spanned private equity, startup, and publicly traded organizations from 400 to 95,000 employees. He has spent his career focusing on value creation through developing performance strategies, operational excellence, building strong talent and performance platforms, and ensuring business alignment of HR functions. Before joining Kindeva, Brian honed his skills at Curia, where he steered expansion from 1,500 to 3,700 employees, developing key strategies that enabled success. Earlier in his career, he ensured smooth acquisition transformations, managed critical transitions, and supported organizational growth for Whirlpool Corporation as Director, Global Human Resources. He further grew his skill set at Spheris, directing workforce planning and resource allocation across the U.S. and India. Brian received his B.S. in organizational communications from Ohio University.

David Stevens

Job Titles:
  • Global Chief Commercial Officer
Dave brings with him more than 20 years of broad international operations and commercial experience in the CRO and CDMO sectors. Most recently, he was the CEO of Arranta Bio, a leading biologics CDMO specializing in mRNA, plasmid DNA, and microbiome live biotherapeutics, and Vibalogics, which focused on viral-based therapies and vaccines. Dave was a key member of the leadership team that started Arranta Bio in 2019, building out the organization and two advanced biologics development and GMP manufacturing facilities, culminating in the business being successfully acquired by Recipharm in 2022. Prior to Arranta Bio, Dave was the Senior Vice President and Head of AMRI's drug product business unit, where he had P&L responsibility for sales and operations. During his tenure, he led the division through a period of significant growth and capacity expansion. Prior to leading this division, Dave held senior leadership roles at AMRI, including as Vice President, Sales & Marketing, and General Manager of a sterile dosage form development and GMP manufacturing facility. In addition to Dave's success at Arranta Bio, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Aptuit, including a long-term international assignment in Italy, where he led operational excellence and capacity planning for an R&D and clinical GMP facility with over 400 employees. He started his career at Inveresk and Charles River Laboratories. Dave earned an undergraduate degree in business and an MBA in strategy, finance, and marketing from the University of Edinburgh.

Kris Barr

  • Head of Global Corporate Communications and Marketing
Kris has more than 25 years of strategic global marketing, communications, and leadership experience within the CDMO, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical markets. She has managed global marketing campaigns for such companies as Meridian, Pfizer, King Pharmaceuticals, Merck, Bayer, and Grifols. Prior to joining Kindeva, Kris was the Director of Marketing for a biotech startup company, where she led corporate communications, government affairs, and brand strategy. During her more than 15 years with Kindeva, Kris has assumed positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Marketing, where she launched several brands within the health security division of the business and Vice President of Corporate Affairs, where she transitioned the legacy businesses to a full-scale CDMO through rebranding initiatives and global marketing campaigns. In her current role as Head of Global Corporate Communications and Marketing, Kris is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Kindeva's global leadership position, as well as spearheading the public relations and marketing activities for the organization and its business units. Kris earned a B.A. in English and American literature from Kenyon College and an MBA, with concentrations in marketing and finance, from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Kris is also certified in leadership development from the Center for Creative Leadership.

Milton Boyer - CEO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Executive Officer
Milton has served in technical, commercial, and executive roles in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 25 years, with a focus in contract manufacturing for both drug substances and sterile drug products. For the last 15 years, he has been immersed in the complexities of sterile drug product manufacturing, most recently as the Chief Executive Officer of SCA Pharmaceuticals in Arkansas. He was also the Head of Drug Product Manufacturing for AMRI (now Curia) in New York and Chief Executive Officer for sterile fill-finish contract manufacturer Oso BioPharmaceuticals, establishing the business after Altaris carved out Catalent's site in New Mexico. Active in trade groups and educational institutions supporting the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, Milton has served on the board of directors and was President of the Drug, Chemical & Allied Trades Association (DCAT). He has also served on the external advisory board for the University of New Mexico's chemistry and chemical biology department and been an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, the Parenteral Drug Association, and the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates. Milton earned a B.S. in chemistry/physics from Hardin-Simmons University and an M.S. in biochemistry from Texas Tech University.

Robby McGarry

Job Titles:
  • Chief of Business Operations and Strategy
As Chief of Business Operations and Strategy, Robby leads Kindeva's global legal function, providing guidance to all departments. Prior to joining Kindeva, Robby was a division counsel, supporting global healthcare businesses within 3M in the areas of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare software. Before working with 3M, Robby was an attorney at the Minneapolis office of Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Robby earned a B.A. in political science and a B.A. in sociology from the University of Minnesota; an MLS in political science, sociology, and cultural studies from the University of Minnesota; and a JD from the University of Utah.

Robert Berg - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Financial Officer
Robert is a highly accomplished, results-driven senior financial management executive with more than 30 years of experience in both private and public companies. He has demonstrated the ability to steer and grow businesses, as well as streamline business operations that increase efficiency and operating income. Before joining Meridian (now Kindeva Drug Delivery), Robert was Chief Financial Officer for CoreRx Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for finance and IT functions and was acting treasurer for their board of directors. Prior to that, Robert was Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of Hikma Pharmaceuticals and Boehringer Ingelheim Roxane, where he spearheaded acquisition and financial integration of the two organizations. Robert earned a B.A. in economics and business from Assumption University and an MBA from the University of New Haven. He also attended executive leadership programs at Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and INSEAD International Business School. In addition, he was a guest professor for select healthcare economics classes at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.

Stephanie Monaco

  • General Counsel & Head of Regulatory Affairs
Stephanie has built an impressive career and brings more than 20 years of experience advising pharmaceutical clients to Kindeva Drug Delivery. Most recently, Stephanie served as Vice President of Intellectual property and deputy general counsel for Upjohn, a former division of Pfizer, Inc. There, she was responsible for legal matters related to intellectual property, litigation, licensing, and business development, and corporate governance, as well as regulatory, privacy, and public policy. During Stephanie's 17 years with Pfizer, she held several other positions, including lead intellectual property counsel for Meridian Medical Technologies. Stephanie studied biochemistry at Rutgers University and earned a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law.
