LEVERAGE ACCOUNTING SERVICES - Key Persons
The framework for Leverage Accounting Services, LLC was developed in 2015 from the demand of small business owners/operators desiring a trust-worthy and proven accountant to help with their accounting needs. Our team consists of Certified Public Accountants and Professional Accountants with the necessary skills to get the job done. Since inception, owner Michelle Harris, worked with several small business on special projects, streamlining month end close, financial reporting and from there the business was formed.
Michelle Harris, MBA, MAFM (President/Owner) has more than 20 years of proven Accounting expertise within multiple industries including healthcare, hospitality, and not for profit. Most recently Michelle serves as Director of Finance for a luxurious hotel in Chicago, also spent 4 years (at a multi-million dollar not for profit) as Director of Accounting. During her tenure Michelle was instrumental in developing the Accounting fiscal services business support capabilities and functions. Michelle has also spent 10 years within hotel accounting management, holding various positions including: Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager and AP/Internal Auditor.
Michelle holds two Masters degree (1) Masters of Business Administration and (2) Masters of Accounting Financial Management.
Outside of work Michelle loves to volunteer with local charities, travel and spend time with family.
