Nikki is also an advocate of giving back to her community and finds great fulfillment in serving others. In addition to being actively engaged in her church home, Nikki is esteemed as a community leader and serves on several boards - such as Vice Chairman of the City of Decatur's Human Relations Commission, Vice Chairman for the Decatur Public Schools Foundation, and a Board Member for the Richland Community College Foundation. Nikki has also served as a breakout session speaker at various conferences as well as a keynote speaker and panel discussion participant... In 2018, Nikki was honored as one of the City of Decatur's "Game Changers" by the renowned National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP); and in 2020, Nikki was recognized as one of Macon County's "20 under 40" recipients which highlighted her efforts throughout Central Illinois... Nikki has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Millikin University, a Master of Science in Accounting from Liberty..
