Arlene Brown

Arlene is an ambitious, charismatic professional with an amalgam of experience in building quality relationships and empowering others to create strong results. She is a relatable professional with a passion for ensuring others are seen, heard, valued, and understood. With an affinity for strategic planning, training and facilitation, and community engagement, she is truly the sum of all her experiences. Arlene is currently the Board Chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Triangle NC (YNPN Triangle NC), a volunteer-led nonprofit whose mission is to cultivate and support young nonprofit professionals in the Triangle by fostering networking, skill-building, and resource sharing. In her time as the Chair, she has led the organization through a strategic culture shift, expanded the organization's reach by garnering additional partnerships in the sector, and doubled the contribution of the Board's annual Give and Get Campaign, even during the time of COVID-19. She is a champion of capacity building and has ushered in a true level of accountability for the organization which has yielded powerful results As a servant leader, she is gifted in community leadership, serving as the New Neighbor Ambassador for the Town of Knightdale, which invites newcomers to Knightdale to become civically engaged and responsibly informed. She has helped also several community groups and organizations such as, Wake County Social and Economic Vitality(Community Leadership Action Team) Wake County Child Abuse Prevention Plan team, (Education and Outreach Team), Stand-Up SpeakOut-NC, Hope Her Way, identify their biggest concerns and provides a safe-space for facilitated discussion that allows groups to problem-solve in the way that best supports their communities and meet their organizations' needs. She firmly believes in using Appreciative Inquiry and Appreciative Leadership modalities, to help others thrive on their own terms and has seen how using a strength-based approach is a powerful way to help people understand and apply their innate superpowers. Arlene says, "I will always be in pursuit of what sets my soul on fire and it is my privilege to help others do the same."

Deborah Goddard

Deborah Goddard is a consultant who has an authentic zeal to help others discover and unleash their personal potential. Deborah has 25years of Public Health Social Work and Community Services Expertise. Deborah earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and a master's degree In Human Services & Executive Leadership from Liberty University. Deborah has several years of community engagement experience and she is an experienced facilitator of self-awareness and personal development workshops. Deborah's long-standing career of serving others with compassion and excellence has deemed her a catalyst that provokes betterment in the lives of human beings.

Dr. Pamela Palmer

Pamela Palmer has provided consultation in various roles related to leadership, organizational, program, and community development. Her professional experience also includes consulting in the areas of program development and management, organizational development, staff development, program evaluation, and community development. She also has a special interest in church development. It is her desire to support church-based initiatives that help members maintain a spiritually-driven life. She currently leads the Guilford County Resource and Referral Center as one of the founders and Executive Director. In addition, she was an Instructor and Assistant Professor of Nonprofit Leadership and Management, for 23 years, at High Point University. She attended Winston-Salem State University (undergraduate school) and North Carolina A&T State University for her Masters Degree in Human Resource Counseling. Pamela completed the Leadership Studies Doctoral Program at North Carolina A&T State University. In addition, Pamela has served and continues to serve, on various nonprofit boards and committees, in hopes that she will make contributions that foster quality services and integrity; to the many individuals impacted by human services on a local, state, regional, national and international level. Some of her recent board and volunteer commitments are to her church, the United Way of Greater High Point, Guilford County Area Mental Health Association, Mayor of High Point's Workforce Preparedness Task Force, and Executive and Program Committee member of the American Friends Service Committee. Other volunteer and board commitments over the years include YMCA of Jamestown, Davidson County Smart Start, Youth Unlimited, North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership, Head Start (Raleigh, NC), the Volunteer Center of Greensboro and a host of others. She grew up in Lexington, NC and resides in Jamestown, NC - with her husband Alan Palmer, son Joshua and mother Ann Mitchell.
