SHERMATRIX

SherMATRIX Inc. is currently involved in the following areas: Lung surgery, regenerative medicine and complex cell culture. Its most advanced product is a new bioadhesive formulated from an extracellular matrix (ECM) of animal origin for applications in pulmonary surgery. The bioadhesive is being validated in in vitro and in vivo studies. In addition, SherMATRIX offers ECMs derived from various tissues and organs for use in complex cell culture... SherMATRIX Inc. was incorporated in February 2020 via love money funding with the goal to value the best results generated by Dr. Patrick Vermette's research team, Faculty of Engineering, Université de Sherbrooke. From the start, SherMATRIX benefits from advice and services offered by the ACET (Accélérateur de création d'entreprises technologiques, Sherbrooke, QC). The two founding members are Dr. Denis Groleau and Dr. Patrick Vermette.
