Spry Sensors LLC is developing sensors for the agricultural market with a unique sensing material along with the ergonomic electronics to make nitrate sensing fast, reliable and accurate. Our goal is to enable quick, inexpensive, accurate, and on-site testing of nitrate levels in the soil. It will help reduce pollution from fertilizer runoff and would create significant economic savings to our farmers. It would also help reduce groundwater pollution caused by excessive nitrates that flow from farmlands to streams, rivers and lakes.
