SOMMER is a brand born in Guatemala. Our goal is to provide professional and economic development opportunites to artsans in rural Guatemalan communites by creatng sustainable high quality fashion goods and products. Co- founded by Kristel Sommerkamp as a social entrepreneurship project in the summer of 2016, SOMERBAGS offered a range of handmade bags made from recycled materials in Guatemalan rural communites. In 2020, we re-launched the brand with the new name SOMMER, expanding our portfolio by offering a wider range of craft products made from the same recycled materials...
