Dr. Kapetanos-Panas grew up in Roslyn and graduated from Herricks High School in 1993. She received her BA with high honors from New York University in 1997, and her DDS degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2002. After graduating dental school, she completed a two year residency program at Nassau University Medical Center where she was chief resident. Since her residency, she has been in private practice. In 2008, Dr. Kapetanos-Panas and Dr. Abramowitz became partners. She is now the sole owner of the practice. Dr. Kapetanos-Panas is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Society. She furthers her dental education by taking numerous continuing education courses. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and her three daughters Maria, Angela and Demitra. She is a very family oriented person and loves cooking in her spare time.

Dr. Choi was born in Seoul, South Korea. When she was six years old, her family moved to Qingdao, China. Dr. Choi lived in China for twelve years. She later graduated from the renowned 6 year dental program at Yonsei University in South Korea. After earning her DDS degree in 2014, she completed a one year residency program in Severance Hospital and also worked at Samsung Hospital. She received her second dental DMD degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2020. After Rutgers, she completed her general practice residency at Nassau University Medical Center. In her free time, Dr. Choi enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters and spending time with friends. She loves to crochet and DIY crafts. Dr. Choi is excited to join the Syosset Family Dentist team!
