Born and raised in Mississippi, I figured it was time to branch out from home. After obtaining my bachelor degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi (Go Rebs!)-I was fortunate to find a new home here in Memphis, TN. I am currently serving in the Army as an aviation operations specialist. I always knew I wanted to help people, and this was the perfect step towards it!
I spend my free time traveling the world (any suggestions on places to go, let me know) and with my furry cat friend, Sage. I love photography and you can always catch me capturing the sunsets!

I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Growing up, I did gymnastics for 14 years and had to quit when I went to college. I studied broadcast journalism and Spanish at the University of Memphis. I studied abroad twice- once for Spanish in Costa Rica and once in Brazil for journalism. In the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to go to the Olympics in Rio to cover the gymnastics competition as a journalist! I'm currently studying for my MBA, and I'm set to graduate in May 2022. I love the community where I live and am the president of the Crosstown Memphis Community Development Corporation. My husband and I have a beautiful German Shepherd named Onyx and a cat named Milo. My husband and I love animals and traveling!

I'm a New England native that reluctantly found my way to Memphis in 2000 and have called it home ever since! I started my career in healthcare in 1995 when I became a single parent of 3! I've worked in hospitals, private practice, and primary care clinics before becoming part of the OR Nurses Nationwide family in 2017! It was one of the best moves I've made in a long time!!!

I have known that I wanted to be a nurse since I was 14 years old and became a Red Cross Volunteer at a local hospital. I am the youngest of 4 children. I am obsessed with the Miami Dolphins, Wonder Woman, and the movie series Underworld. My sister is my best friend. I am slightly OCD and always doing some sort of home project because I can't seem to sit still. My greatest joys in life are my husband, my son, and my border collies.

While I am originally from Chicago, my family and I have called Memphis home since we moved here over a decade ago. From as early as I can remember, I have had a passion for helping others and a strong sense of empathy as well as determination. After growing up in the Mid-South, I chose to remain there to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts degree in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership at the University of Memphis. During this time, I was able to employ my customer service skills in different capacities: I was an Administrative Graduate Assistant for the School of Health Studies at the U of M, taught 9th grade standard English and Literature at a local school, and was the Corporate Trainer/Head Trainer/Lead Server for J. Alexander's restaurant for 6 years. Each position has allowed me to become adept at communication, customer service, and timeliness.
My journey with OR Nurses Nationwide/Travel Nurses, Inc. as a Recruitment Specialist began in July of 2017, and I could not have made a better choice. I am able to utilize my professional skillset and education as well as engage with healthcare professionals by sharing my heart with them through our bond of caring for others. In a sense, I get to help others…help others!

I am originally from Florida. I lived in Memphis from 2015- 2017 and during that time I worked at OR Nurses Nationwide/Travel Nurses, Inc. as a Recruitment Specialist. I left Memphis and ORNN/TNI in 2017 to move back to Tampa, Florida to be near family (and the beaches). While away, I worked as an IT Recruiter and then a Communications Specialist. I have always had the utmost respect for nurses. For years I always thought I wanted to be a nurse, but it turns out that it wasn't for me, which ultimately left me questioning what career path I wanted to pursue. I eventually moved away from my home state, Virginia, and graduated from college with a double major in Marketing and Communication Strategy.
Once I graduated, I searched for months to find a job where I felt like I would make a difference and help others.
