Since becoming the first full-time Executive Director of the organization in 2010, Dean Hybl has helped Ten at the Top earn regional and national recognition for developing connections, fostering collaboration, and building regional capacity across communities and stakeholder groups.
Dean has been recognized multiple times by Greenville Business Magazine as one of Greenville's 50 Most Influential Business Leaders. In 2016, Dean received the Welling Award for Regional Collaboration in the Upstate and in 2018 he was recognized by Upstate Forever as their Land Planning and Policy Champion.
A member of multiple organizations and boards across the Upstate, Dean was a founding co-chair of Greenville CAN (Collaborative Action Network) and has been on the board of directors for Community Works Carolina and the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the National Advisory Board for the Alliance for Regional Stewardship.
Originally from Keysville, Virginia, Dean is a graduate of James Madison University. He and his wife, Suzy, have two children-Bethany and Nate-and currently reside in Greer. Prior to joining TATT, Dean spent several years promoting regional collaboration in the Central Florida area after working in college athletics for over a decade.

As the Administrative Associate, Erica's role at Ten at the Top is to assist with office tasks, events, fundraising support, and contributing to the UpstateVibe365 initiative.
Erica grew up in Oregon but has traveled and lived in many places, including New Zealand and Greece. She attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA where she earned a BA in History.
Erica moved to Upstate South Carolina in 2016 with her husband and two kids. She is fluent in Greek and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

As program and event coordinator, Justine oversees the ongoing initiatives of Ten at the Top-Senior Issues, Education Spectrum, Entrepreneurial Support Providers, Network, and Upstate Professional Planners-working with the committees to move those initiatives forward. She also takes the lead on events.
Justine attended UMASS Amherst and has a BS in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration. Justine has worked as a catering director in hotels and event companies, as a purser/hotel manager on a small cruise ship, and as event planner, charity liaison, and volunteer coordinator on the BMW Charity Pro-Am golf tournament. Most recently, Justine was the volunteer program manager at Dining for Women's Greenville headquarters. Justine loves playing outdoors with her husband, Steve, and daughter Gabby. Her favorites are tennis, pickleball, hiking, camping, live music, and spending time at the beach.

As the Director of the Upstate Mobility Alliance, Michael's role is to lead the Alliance in achieving the vision of making the 10 county Upstate South Carolina region "a vibrant and connected region, where transportation policy and investments promote innovation, sustainable development, and economic prosperity for all residents and businesses."
Michael is a graduate of Columbia Southern University, where he received a bachelor's degree and MBA in International Management. He and his wife, Chrissie, have one son, Noah, and live in Greenville. Prior to joining TATT, Michael served as Chief of Staff for Prisma Health and spent 15 years with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office in various staff and leadership roles.

Sharon's involvement with Ten at the Top began in 2013 when she was brought on as a writer to produce articles featured in the Uniquely Upstate newsletter. Her role gradually expanded until she was named Director of Outreach and Special Projects in March of 2019. She supports and expands the outreach of Ten at the Top, building engagement within the ten counties of the Upstate. Sharon also oversees the #UpstateVibe365 campaign, which focuses on community vibrancy in the Upstate.
Sharon's career has spanned children's book clubs, scholarly publishing, and marketing and communications. She moved to the Upstate in 2010 to marry her husband Garroll, who has worked at AFL for many years; they currently live in Spartanburg with their two cats.
