I started making money in the tree business at the age of 10 splitting firewood for people in my hometown of McKenzie Bridge, OR, which is located on the McKenzie River. My parents were both tree planters and my father also worked on thinning projects for the forest service; I learned a lot from both of them regarding planting and thinning from a young age. In high school I started working for the forest service and learned proper pruning techniques with both handsaws and pole saws... In 2012, my wife and I had our first child and we moved to Newberg, OR to be closer to family. At this time, I started working at a saw shop while doing brush cutting, pruning, and sawmilling on the side, which I became very passionate about. This led to me becoming a licensed contractor and starting my own business in February 2015...
