Andrew has a strong background in audit and financial reporting, specialising in advising owner - Managed Business, mid and large corporates on audit and accountancy compliance, tax planning, internal controls, systems and providing strategic advice. Andrew prides himself on being able to develop strong relationships. He regularly communicates with his clients and tries to add value at all possible opportunities.

David Clegg - Managing Director

David is the Managing Director at AMS Accountants Group. His professional career began in 2007 as a Chartered Accountant at RSM Tenon, one of the leading high growth entrepreneurial practises in the UK. Following several promotions at RSM Tenon, he was headhunted by a regional firm and joined at partner level to assist with taking the business to the next level. As Managing Director, he brings his experience, skills and his proven track record in advising high growth businesses on their strategic, operational and reporting structures, and has some great success stories in helping clients achieve significant growth.

Gopal Mistry

Gopal is an assistant manager within our accounts and audit department. Having joined in 2019, he is dealing with businesses in a range of areas, including limited companies, partnerships and charity accounts preparation, corporation and personal taxation. He specialises in solicitors accounts rules audits. Gopal is a QBE accountant with over thirty years' experience in accountancy both in practices and private sector. Away from the office, Gopal is a sports fan and a coffee connoisseur.

Joanne Ridgway

Martyn Lent

He has 19 years of audit experience and has developed a great depth of knowledge and experience across a variety of business sectors having worked for accountancy firms from regional to national practices. Martyn has a strong background in audit and financial reporting, specialising in advising SME's on audit and accountancy compliance, tax planning, internal controls, systems and providing strategic advice. At AMS, Martyn prides himself on developing strong relationships, regularly communicating with clients trying to add value at all possible opportunities.

Melissa Scobie

Melissa has been working in the industry for the last six years and gained her qualification with ACCA in 2022. Since she has started in practice, Melissa has been able to gain a wide range of knowledge due to dealing with a variety of clients from all sections across the UK with a focus on SME's. Melissa's experience covers a wide range of topics from tax, accounts, audit, and VAT with a specific focus on financial reporting and audit.

Oliver Meyers

Oliver is a Manager within our Medical Division and specialises in supporting our Pharmacy and Large Company department whilst also being heavily involved in supporting our GP Practice Team. He has over ten years of practice experience plus three years of industry experience which has allowed him to play a pivotal role in supporting both our clients and staff across the full division. Oliver strives for perfection with everything he approaches and his attention to detail is unrivalled. This has been key to the development of our Pharmacy compliance delivery and has allowed a number of our clients to streamline their businesses in a very competitive market. This particular skill has also presented Oliver with the ability to understand the different facets to the preparation of specialist GP accounts and be able to advise on what's being presented to the untrained eye. Software, tax and business advisory are also part of his skillset but the standout is his ability as a peoples person. With this Oliver continues to build strong relationships, inside and outside of the office, and reinforces what AMS Medical does best, service.

Sally Thomas

As a long-standing member of the team, she has built a depth of quality experience across audit, accounts, and taxation.

With a broad knowledge of the accounting, taxation and operational issues faced by our clients, Tom focuses on providing proactive service and clear advice to his clients and their practice managers. Tom has directly supported many clients in achieving asset growth through their business and in their personal capacity.

Yasin Muminovic

Yasin is a Director dealing exclusively with medical professionals. With over ten years' experience in the Healthcare sector, Yasin possesses comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of the unique issues facing medical professionals, the complex tax and pensions regulations and the changing NHS landscape. Yasin performs advisory work in areas such as premises developments, mergers and acquisitions, practice incorporations, NHS contract tenders, primary care networks and succession planning. Yasin works with the specialist tax and accounts teams to deliver high quality work to many long-standing clients, including high net worth individuals and retired professionals. Yasin has worked with GPs, Dentists and Pharmacists for over 10 years and is a regular contributor to the industry writing articles and speaking at a number of events each year around the country for, Pulse, BDIA, Management in Practice, amongst others.
