Emma is a qualified property lawyer and accredited property law specialist of the Law Institute of Victoria. She has practised for the last 2 decades, and has worked in the private and public sphere. Her expertise is in strata and facilities management and associated legal issues in residential and commercial subdivisions is an asset to the company.
Emma understands stratum company arrangements, having acting for private clients buying and selling apartments which are governed by a stratum service company. She has advised clients seeking to convert a stratum subdivision plan to a strata plan of subdivision. Emma understands the conversion process which involves:
- Land surveying.
- Building compliance requirements triggered by a subdivision.
- Dealing with proprietors and their mortgagees/encumbrances of stratum-titled apartments.
- Dividing the residual land and allocating accessory parcels to apartment owners and the stamp duty implications, and legal advice.

He has worked for the largest corporates in Australia including Macquarie Bank, the National Australia Bank as well as a major Silicon Valley company. He is tertiary qualified with a bachelor of business (majoring in accounting) and is an associate member of CPA Australia.
