ASCENT ASSET MANAGEMENT - Key Persons

Philip Parker

Philip Parker knows the struggles that veterans may face after serving their country. As a disabled Navy Veteran, Parker has experienced these difficulties himself but now strives to give back to those in need. With a focus on giving back to veterans, whether it is providing jobs, renting properties, or eventually giving veterans and Americans the dream of home ownership, Parker is committed to making a difference when Americans need it most. Through his company Ascent Asset Management, Parker specializes in acquiring undervalued properties and operating them until they are eventually resold. His goal is to employ Americans (with an emphasis on veterans) and most importantly, provide housing options for those who may otherwise be unable to gain access to affordable housing. Parker's altruistic approach to business has helped him in his many years in Infrastructure Real Estate Development, Institutional Asset Management, and Corporate Finance. Aside from his real estate interest, he is the CEO and Founder of Penn Oak Energy Services, a Washington D.C. based energy development company. He is also a founding partner in Renewable Resources, LLC, which focuses its ‘energy' on solar and solar-thermal energy production. This distinguished disabled Navy Veteran cares about people. With the support of his loyal and compassionate investors, Parker simply wants to give back. He understands the work-ethic of those who served, he knows the challenges that they may face with disabilities and he appreciates their effort and commitment to serve their country. He wants to acknowledge all of these amazing qualities that encouraged them to enlist and which now give them the courage to continue in life despite their challenges. But Parker is not in this alone! With your help and support, he can continue his quest of identifying those residential properties that will provide optimal solutions for veterans to work and live. Having a deep respect for the Navy values of honor, courage, and commitment, Parker is dedicated to helping those in need while meeting the needs and requirements of his business partners and investors. Having good business sense will certainly carry entrepreneurs to success. But having an altruistic approach to business will have the added benefit of improving someone else's life along the way. Parker does not want to be remembered as simply a shrewd and successful businessman but rather for his kindness and generosity to others, especially those who have fought for our freedom and that of future generations.
