Co-VidSpeak was created from discussions by Bill Binko and Brian Whitmer. We realized during the Covid-19 pandemic that people on a breathing tube in the ICU are being physically isolated from family, but that a video call wouldn't be enough to help the communicate... Co-VidSpeak is a video chat tool that can help people may not be able to speak, but can still benefit from social interactions at a distance... We built Co-VidSpeak as a powerful tool to help people because we've seen it ourselves. We have family member and friends who couldn't use their voice, and want to help others like them who may feel isolated during recovery or physical distancing.
