Member of the Italian professional conference interpreters association Assointerpreti since 2000 (former President and former Governing Board Member), VKD im BdÜ since 2018 and AITI since 1991. Determined and passionate both at work and in life, I strongly believe in associationism as well as in the principle of personal and professional development. Climate Leader in Al Gore's Climate Reality Project and activist in Mountain Wilderness International and Mountain Wilderness Italy. John O'Shea is an active member of the Panhellenic Association of Translators (PEM) and is also a member of MET, the Hellenic Terminology Network, the Hellenic Society for Terminology (ELETO) and Clarity International. He holds an LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M in European Environmental Law from Queens University Belfast. He moved from a career in legal academia to translation and for more than 20 years has been working as a legal translator. For over a decade he has been teaching Greek-English legal translation skills at a translation studies centre in Athens, Greece. He has been on the Board of FIT Europe since 2017.
Maria is a sworn translator and interpreter based in Madrid (Spain). She also teaches English - Spanish legal translation at postgraduate level at the University of Alcala. A staunch defender of associationism, she is an active member of the Spanish Association of Translators, Proofreaders and Interpreters (ASETRAD), where she collaborated in several committees and working groups before having the honor of being its president for six years (2015-2021). Maria is also Co-Chair of the FIT Legal Translation and Interpreting Task Force. A tireless traveler, you may find her at an airport always carrying her yoga mat and a book under her arm.

Sandra Mouton is a French translator, working with English, Russian and Latin. She holds a BA and MA in French and classical languages and an associate degree in English from La Sorbonne university in Paris. After working as a teacher in France, she moved to a translation career and to the United Kingdom in 2008. Sandra is a member of the Société française des traducteurs (SFT) and of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI). She served as Events Officer of the Western Regional Group of the ITI for seven years, and has been part of the editorial committee working on FIT's bilingual newsletter Translatio since 2016. Sandra joined FIT Europe's Board in 2021.
Dr. Zsuzsanna Lakatos-Báldy PhD. is a conference interpreter and translator with Spanish, Portuguese and Hungarian as her working languages, and the President of MFTE, the Hungarian Association of Translators and Interpreters. She is a university lecturer at the Foreign Trade Faculty of the Budapest Business University, where she heads the Spanish-Portuguese section of the International Business Department. She is a member of the Hungarian Public Relations Association, a Hungarian Association of Applied Linguists and Language Teachers as well as of the editorial board of Porta Lingua, a language portal. She has taught interpreting for several years at Hungarian universities and language skills development at the Spanish Department of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE).
She obtained her PhD in Linguistics in audiovisual translation, translation of cultural realia and translation as intercultural communication. Her interpreting experience ranges from accompanying factory processes to Heads of State meetings, and her translation experience from books like A Short History of Spain to children's books and, more recently, poetry translation.
