GAP Community Child Development Center was established in 1982 and is a non-profit (tax exempt Center that is licensed by the District of Columbia). GAP is nationally accredited by NAEYC and has held accreditation since 2009. GAP Community Child Development Center is part of the Office of the State Superintendent of Education's Pre-K Enhancement and Expansion Program, making it one of only 30 OSSE PKEEP centers with this high-quality designation! GAP also follows District of Columbia Early Learning Standards (DC ELS).
